Indian Agricultural Research Institute (IARI) is conducting a recruitment drive for the position of Senior Research Fellow (SRF) in Bengaluru, with one vacancy available. Candidates must possess a Master's degree in Agriculture/Horticulture specializing in Vegetable Science, Plant Breeding and Genetics, Life Sciences, or related subjects from a recognized university.
The salary offered is Rs. 35,000/- per month plus 27% HRA. The maximum age limit for applicants is 35 years, with relaxation provided for SC/ST, women, and OBC candidates as per government norms. The selection will be through a walk-in interview scheduled for July 24, 2024, at the Division of Vegetable Science, ICAR-IARI, New Delhi.

Qualification for IARI Recruitment 2024
Masters’ degree in Agriculture /horticulture with specialization in Vegetable Science/Plant Breeding and Genetics/Life Sciences or related subjects from a recognized University. Research experience in the morphological characterization of relevant vegetable crops

Maximum age is 35 years for SRF (age relaxation of five years for SC/ST & women and three years for OBC).

- The candidate intending to attend the interview, if any of his/her near or distant relative is an employee of the ICAR/IARI, have to declare his/her name, designation, nature of duties, relationship in advance in writing so as to reach the Head Division of Vegetable Science, ICARIARI, New Delhi ([email protected]) by 22.07.2024.
- If on the date of interview such declaration is furnished and found that his relative is an employee of ICAR/IARI, such candidates will not be allowed for interview.
- All the other candidates are also required to compulsorily furnish the declaration duly signed and submitted on the date of interview.
- The candidates have to strictly submit the form annexed (typed/filled) duly signed and submit on the date of interview
- Reporting time for interview: 24.07.2024 Time: 9.30 AM at the Division of Vegetable Science, ICAR-IARI, New Delhi-110012;
- Walk-in-interview for one post of Senior Research Fellow (SRF) under Project “DUS testing of Cucurbits (Bottle gourd, bitter gourd, pumpkin and cucumber)” will be held on 24.07.2024 at 10.00 AM onwards in the Division of Vegetable Science, ICAR - Indian Agricultural Research Institute, New Delhi -110012.
- Eligible candidates should mail their complete CV as per the attached format giving full details of academic records and experience along with self-attested photocopy(s) of the supporting documents.
