IARI Recruitment 2024 New Notification Out For 03 Vacancies, Check Post, Age Limit, Qualification, Salary And Other Vital Details

The Water Technology Centre at ICAR-Indian Agricultural Research Institute, New Delhi, is conducting walk-in interviews for the recruitment of One Junior Research Fellow (JRF) and Two Field Worker/Helpers for a DST funded project titled "North India Centre for Water Technology Research in Agriculture".

Interested candidates meeting the qualifications are required to send their bio-data/CV to [email protected] by April 30, 2024. The interviews will be held on May 7, 2024, at 10:00 AM, with reporting time at 09:30 AM for certificate verification.

The age limit is 35 years with relaxations for certain categories, and the positions are purely temporary and contractual. Candidates must bring their original certificates for verification during the interview.

Qualification for IARI Recruitment 2024

Junior Research Fellow :

• M.Sc/M. Tech. in Soil Science, Agricultural Engineering with specialisation in Soil & Water Conservation Engineering/ Irrigation & Drainage Engineering/Land and Water Management Engineering/Water Conservation Engineering, Water Science and Technology.
• Candidates having 3 years Bachelor’s degree and 2 years Master’s degree should have qualified UGC/CSIR/ICAR-NET/ GATE or Ph. D. in relevant discipline as above
• Desirable: Skills in soil, water, wastewater and plant Analysis Remote sensing and GIS , modelling Computer application for data analysis Field data recording

Field Worker or Helper :

• Essential: Graduation in any discipline
• Desirable: One year experience regarding field and lab analysis work

Age Limit for IARI Recruitment 2024

• The maximum age limit for all applicants is 35 years for the specified positions. SC/ST and women candidates are eligible for a relaxation of five years, while OBC candidates can avail a relaxation of three years.

Terms and Conditions for IARI Recruitment 2024

• The advertised positions are purely temporary and contractual appointments and will be filled on contractual basis up to 10th September 2024 or till the termination of the project whichever is earlier.
• The appointments may be terminated at any time without notice or assigning any reason thereof.
• The JRF and Field Worker/Helper may also leave the assignment, on their own volition, by giving one month notice.
• The renewal and continuation of a yearly contract is subject to satisfactory work performance.
• The candidate shall not claim regular appointment at this Institute, as the post is co-terminus with the project.
• He/She will be stationed at Project sites/IARI, New Delhi.
• However, the selected candidates may have to visit any place in India, if need arises.
• No regular leave will be allowed except casual and restricted holidays not exceeding 10 days in a year as per ICAR rules
• The applicant is required to declare if any of his/her near or distant relative is an employee of ICAR/IARI and has to declare his or her name, designation, nature of duties, relationship in advance in writing.
• Concealing of facts or canvassing in any form shall lead to disqualification or termination.
• No objection and experience certificate from the employer in case he/she is in employment.
• Candidates reaching after the specified timing will not be entertained.

Selection Procedure for IARI Recruitment 2024

• In case the number of candidates are large enough, the Competent Authority reserves the right to fix the criteria to limit the candidate on the basis of qualification, experience etc.
• The decision of the Competent Authority will be final.
• No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.
