IARI Recruitment 2024 Notification Out for 01 JRF / Project Associate-I, Check Eligibility at iari.res.in
Indian Agricultural Research Institute (IARI) has released a notification for the recruitment of 01 JRF / Project Associate-I position on a contractual basis under a DBT Funded Research Project. The project aims at germplasm characterization and trait discovery in wheat using genomics approaches for enhancing climate resilience, productivity, and nutritional quality.
The selected candidate will receive a salary of Rs. 31,000 per month plus 24% HRA until the project end date, with the possibility of extension subject to DBT approval. The age limit for applicants is 35 years with relaxations for OBC, SC/ST, and women candidates as per government/ICAR guidelines. Shortlisted candidates will be informed about the interview date via email, which will be conducted online.

Position, Vacancy for IARI Recruitment 2024
A position of JRF/Project Associate-I purely on contractual basis is vacant in a DBT Funded Research Project “Germplasm characterization and trait discovery in wheat using genomics approaches and its integration for improving climate resilience, productivity and nutritional quality” 24-732 (B).

Qualification for IARI Recruitment 2024
- Master’s degree in Genetics / Plant Breeding/ Genetics and Plant Breeding / Agricultural Biotechnology or Post graduate degree in basic sciences (Botany and allied sciences) selected through a process described through any one of the following:
- Scholars who are selected through National Eligibility Tests - CSIR-UGC NET including lectureship (Assistant Professorship) and GATE.
- The selection process through National level examinations conducted by Central Government Departments and their Agencies and Institutions such as DST, DBT, DAE, DOS, DRDO, MHRD, ICAR, ICMR, IIT, IISc, IISER etc (as per the DST guidelines vide SR/S9/Z-08/2018 dated 30.01.2019)
- Research experience in wheat breeding and bioinformatics
Pay Scale for IARI Recruitment 2024
Rs. 31,000 per month +24% HRA Project end date: 28/02/2025. Extension of the project is subjected to approval from DBT.
Age Limit for IARI Recruitment 2024
Age Limit for the positions is 35 years. Age relaxation of 3 years for OBC and 5 years relaxation for SC/ST and woman candidates as per Government/ ICAR guidelines. Minimum age should be of 18 years as on date of interview
Selection Procedure for IARI Recruitment 2024
Shortlisted candidates will be informed about date of interview through email. Interview will be taken by online mode. Therefore, candidates must mention their active email ID in the application. Only the candidates shortlisted on the basis of the CV sent by them would be intimated for the interview.
