Qualifications For IARI Recruitment 2024
Research Associate
- With Doctoral degree: Ph.D. in Molecular Biology/Biotechnology/ Microbiology/Biochemistry/ any relevant discipline of Life Sciences with desirable experience.
- With Master’s degree holders: Master's degree in Molecular Biology/Biotechnology/ Microbiology/Biochemistry/any relevant discipline of Life Sciences with 4/5 years of Bachelor's degree having 1st Division or 60% marks or equivalent overall grade point average, with at least three years of research experience as evidenced from Fellowship/ Associateship/ Training/ other engagements as circulated vide F. No. 2-9/2012-HRD dated 25.04.2014 and one research paper in Science Citation Index (SCI)/NAAS rated (≥4.0) Journal as per OM SR/S9/Z09/2018 of DST dated 30.01.2019
- Experience in recombinant DNA technology
Project Associate
- Master’s degree in Plant Molecular Biology/Biotechnology / Microbiology /Biochemistry/Life Sciences or Post graduate degree in basic sciences (Botany and allied sciences) selected through a process described through any one of the following: I. Scholars who are selected through National Eligibility Tests - CSIR-UGC NET including lectureship (Assistant Professorship) and GATE.
- The selection process through National level examinations conducted by Central Government Departments and their Agencies and Institutions such as DST, DBT, DAE, DOS, DRDO, MHRD, ICAR, ICMR, IIT, IISc, IISER etc (as per the DST guidelines vide SR/S9/Z-08/2018 dated 30.01.2019)
Age limit For IARI Recruitment 2024
- Research Associate: Maximum: 40 years for men; 45 years for women (Age relaxation of five years for SC/ST, three years for OBC as per GOI/ICAR rules).
- Project Associate: Maximum: 35 years for men; 40 years for women (Age relaxation of five years for SC/ST, three years for OBC as per GOI/ICAR rules).
Salary Details for IARI Recruitment 2024
Research Associate
- Rs. 58000/- + 27% HRA /month
Project Associate
- Rs. 31000/- + 27% HRA /month
- Rs. 25000/- +HRA for others who do not fall in the above category
IARI Research Associate and Project Associate Recruitment 2024 Last Date to Apply Online at iari.res.in
- The candidate intending to attend the interview, if any of his/her near or distant relative is an employee of the ICAR/IARI, have to declare his/her name, designation, nature of duties, relationship and communicate this office as per format given below by June 15th, 2024 by post (AAO, Division of Microbiology, ICAR-IARI New Delhi-12). If on the date of interview such declaration is not furnished and found that his/her relative is an employee of ICAR/IARI, such candidate will not be allowed for interview.
- Only the candidates having essential qualifications would be entertained for the interview.
- Eligible candidates will have to compulsorily bring all the original degree certificates and mark sheets of 10, 12, UG, PG, Ph.D /NET/GATE/equivalent certificates, proof of experience and one set of the self-attested photocopies of all the required certificates from matriculation onwards and an attested copy of recent passport size photograph pasted onto the filled in application form (as per the annexure I & II).
- Proof of experience and publications also need to be submitted.
- No objection Certificate (NOC) from the current employer is required, if working.
- Concealing of facts or canvassing in any form will disqualify the candidate.
- All other candidates are required to compulsorily furnish the declaration duly signed in the format (Annexure II) and submit on the date of interview.
- The selected candidate will be required to produce all the original documents and medical certificate at the time of joining.
- The selected candidates shall not claim for regular appointment at this institute as the positions are time bound and co-terminus with the project.
- No TA/DA/any other expenses will be paid for attending the interview.
- Candidates reaching after specified timing will not be entertained.
- Institute retains the right to not select any candidate / scrap any of the positions even after interview
