Indian Agricultural Research Institute (IARI) is inviting applications for online interviews for the ICAR-IRRI funded project at the Division of Genetics, ICAR-IARI, New Delhi. The positions available are purely on a contractual basis. Eligible candidates should send their applications in the provided format along with self-attested scanned copies of original documents to the specified email address by April 25, 2024.
Only shortlisted candidates will be informed about the online interview details, tentatively scheduled for April 29, 2024. It is mandatory for candidates to submit all necessary documents and a signed declaration along with the application.
Candidates must declare if they have any relatives employed at ICAR/IARI. The selected candidates will be appointed on a temporary basis, subject to performance and project duration.

IARI Recruitment 2024 Qualification
Senior Research Fellow
- Master's degree in Genetics/Plant Breeding/Genetics and Plant Breeding/Biotechnology/Life Sciences with 4/5 years of Bachelor's Degree. At least two years of experience research experience in Academic Institutions or Science and Technology Organisations Candidates having a graduate degree in Basic Sciences with 3 years of Bachelor's degree and 2 years of Master's degree should have NET/GATE qualifications. (As per ICAR Office memorandum (O.M) No. SR/S9/Z08/2018 dated 30-01-2019 and 6/27/2014- HRD, Dated 30th July, 2019)
- Experience in molecular markers, field phenotyping, and handling rice crop.
Skilled Helper
- The candidate should have completed 10+2 in Agriculture/Horticulture/Science/Arts/Commerce
- Experience in handling rice crop.
IARI Recruitment 2024 Pay Scale
- Senior Research Fellow : Rs.35,000 + 24% HRA
- Skilled Helper : Rs.21215/- (consolidated) per month
IARI Recruitment 2024 Age limit
- Indian Agricultural Research Institute (IARI) has announced vacancies for Senior Research Fellow and Skilled Helper positions through a recruitment notification released on April 5, 2024.
- Online applications are invited via the PGIMER Chandigarh website iari.res.in. The maximum age for Senior Research Fellow and Skilled Helper positions is 35 years, with age relaxation of five years for SC/ST and women candidates, and three years for OBC candidates.
Terms & Conditions For IARI Recruitment 2024
- The posts are purely temporary and will be filled on contractual basis initially for up to 31/03/2025 which may be extended periodically subject to performance till the termination of the project.
- The selected candidate shall not claim regular appointment at this Institute, as the post is co-term in us with the project.
- The interview for eligible candidates will be held online, the details of which will be communicated to eligible candidates by email.
- Reporting time for online interview will be communicated and the candidate shall adhere to the instructions
