IARI (Indian Agricultural Research Institute) has announced recruitment for two temporary project positions: Project Associate-I and Skilled Field/Lab Worker. The salary for Project Associate-I is INR 25,000 per month plus HRA, while for Skilled Field/Lab Worker, it is INR 21,215 per month.
The maximum age limit is 35 years, with relaxation for SC/ST/OBC and women candidates. Selection will be based on eligibility criteria, educational performance, and/or relevant research experience, with shortlisted candidates invited for interviews in Delhi.

Position, Vacancy for IARI Recruitment 2024
Eligible candidates may apply for an interview for the temporary project positions of Project Associate-1 (01 position) and Skilled field/lab worker (01 position) in a Contractual Research Project as follows. Please be aware that the project is of SIX MONTHS duration and will end in October 2024.
- Project Associate-I: 01 position
- Skilled Field/ Lab Worker: 01 position
Qualification for IARI Recruitment 2024
- Project Associate-I: Essential: Master’s degree in Nematology / Plant Pathology / Entomology / Plant Protection/ Life Science/ Zoology Desirable: Experience of working with plant parasitic nematodes
- Skilled Field/Lab Worker; Essential: 12th Pass Desirable: Minimum two years of experience in lab /field work of growing various crops and vegetables. Experience of working with plant parasitic nematodes.
Pay Scale for IARI Recruitment 2024
- Project Associate-I: INR 25000/- + HRA per month. As per SERB OM no. SB/S9/Z07/2020 dated 25/08/2020
- Skilled Field/Lab Worker: INR 21,215/- per month. As per Delhi Government Order F. No. (142/02/MW/VII/Part file/5206-5224), dated 23/10/2023
Age Limit for IARI Recruitment 2024
35 years maximum (5 years relaxation for SC/ST/OBC and woman candidates as per ICAR rules). The post is purely temporary in nature and is co-terminus with the project.
Selection Procedure for IARI Recruitment 2024
- Only the candidates having essential qualifications and proper certificates would be called for the interviews.
- The candidates shall be shortlisted based on eligibility criteria, educational performance and/or relevant research experience, if applicable.
- Only, shortlisted candidates shall be informed about the screening results via email and shall be invited to attend online/ in person interview in Delhi.
- The candidates are advised to regularly check their email for updates. No TA/DA shall be paid to attend the interview.
