Qualification for IAF Recruitment 2024
Candidates should have passed Matriculation / Equivalent examination from “Education Boards recognized by Central, State and UT as on date of registration shall only be considered”.
Pay Scale for IAF Recruitment 2024
- Agniveervayu Non-Combatant enrolled under this Scheme will be paid an Agniveer package of Rs. 30,000/- per month with a fixed yearly increment.
- In addition, Risk and Hardship allowances (as applicable in IAF), Dress and Travel allowances will be paid.
- Perks such as ration, clothing, accommodation and Leave Travel Concession (LTC) shall also be provided as per the existing rules.
- 1 st Year: 30,000/-, 2 nd Year: 33,000/-, 3 rd Year: 36,500/-, 4 th Year: 40,000/-
- For the duration of their engagement period in Indian Air Force, Agniveervayu Non-Combatant will be entitled for medical facility at Service Hospitals as well as CSD provisions.
Age Limit for IAF Recruitment 2024
Date of Birth Block. Candidate born between 02 Jan 2004 and 02 Jul 2007 (both days inclusive) are eligible to apply. In case, a candidate clears all the stages of the Selection Procedure, then the upper age limit as on date of enrolment should be 21 years.
Selection Procedure for IAF Recruitment 2024
- The written test for the position of "Agniveervayu Non-Combatant" will be held at the IAF Station or location where the candidate submitted their application. This test will be the same for both streams, and a minimum aggregate score of 10 is required to pass.
- Only those candidates who pass the written test will be eligible to take the Physical Fitness Test (PFT). Depending on the number of candidates who pass the written test, either all candidates or a select ratio based on merit may be allowed to participate in the PFT. Whenever possible, the Physical Fitness Test will be conducted on the same day as the written test.
- Physical Fitness Test – 1 (PFT-1): Candidates who pass the height check will be allowed to take PFT-1, which involves running 1.6 km within 6 minutes and 30 seconds.
- Physical Fitness Test – 2 (PFT-2): Only candidates who qualify PFT-1 will be eligible for PFT-2. Candidates can review the test procedures by watching the demo videos for PFT-2, which are available under the Non-Combatants tab on the web portal https://agnipathvayu.cdac.in.
- Medical Examination: A select number of candidates who pass the stream suitability test will undergo a medical examination at a designated location. This examination will be conducted by an Air Force Medical Team according to the IAF medical standards and policies in effect.
IAF Recruitment 2024 Last Date to Apply
- Candidates are required to download the blank application form and relevant certificates from the "Application Forms" section under the "Agniveervayu Non-Combatants" tab on the web portal https://agnipathvayu.cdac.in.
- Completed application forms and supporting documents should be submitted by normal post or dropped into the designated drop box at any of the specified locations, ensuring they arrive by the due date mentioned in the employment news notification.
- Applications that do not follow the format provided on the web portal will be rejected.
- Late submissions will not be accepted.
- Submitting multiple applications will lead to rejection of all applications.
- Incomplete applications, lacking required information or documents, will also be rejected.
