The Indian Air Force (IAF) is inviting unmarried Indian male and female candidates to participate in a recruitment rally from July 3 to July 12, 2024, at two locations: 3 ASC C/O Air Force Station in Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh, and 7 ASC, No. 1 Cubbon Road, Bengaluru, Karnataka. The recruitment aims to select candidates for the Agniveervayu (Musician) Intake 01/2025.
Eligible candidates must be born between January 2, 2004, and July 2, 2007, and have passed matriculation or equivalent from a recognized board. Applicants must demonstrate musical proficiency, including accuracy in tempo, pitch, and the ability to perform a complete song. They should also be able to tune instruments and match notes vocally or instrumentally.
Candidates need proficiency in playing at least one instrument from either List A (e.g., flute, trumpet) or List B (e.g., piano, guitar), and preferably two instruments (one from each list). Additionally, candidates must have a music experience certificate, such as a Grade 5 or higher from a recognized music institute, a diploma in music, or a certificate of participation/awards from recognized events. Registration for the rally is open from 11:00 hrs on May 22, 2024, to 23:00 hrs on June 5, 2024, through the web portal https://agnipathvayu.cdac.in, with a registration fee of Rs 100 plus GST. Only registered candidates with a provisional admit card will be allowed to appear at the rally.

Qualifications Details for IAF Recruitment 2024
- Passed Matriculation/ 10th or equivalent with minimum pass marks from any Govt recognized School/ Board
- Candidates must have proficiency in music with accuracy in tempo, pitch and singing one complete song. They should be able to perform one preparatory tune and any of the notations i.e. Staff notation/ Tablature/ Tonic Solfa/ Hindustani/ Carnatic etc. Candidates must be able to tune individual instruments (in case of instruments require tuning) and match unknown notes on vocal or instruments.
- Candidates must have proficiency in playing any one instrument from the List given in the PDF
- It is desirable that the candidates have proficiency to play two instruments (one each from). Candidates should have any one of the following experience certificate: Grade 5th or equivalent or above in one instrument from a recognized music institute such as TCL or RSM, KM Music Conservatory, Bangalore Schoo of Music, TSM, GMI, Berklee School of Music etc. or
- Diploma or equivalent in the field of music for candidates performing Hindustani or Carnatic Classical Music from any recognized University. Certificate of participation/ awards presented at various events. For such candidates' performance/ playing of blowing instruments with staff notation as mentioned in Educational QRs.

Time & Date of Rally Registration for the rally will start at 1100 hrs on 22 May 2024 and will close at 2300 hrs on 05 June 2024 on webportal https: //agnipathvayu.cdac.in. Only registered candidates issued with Provisional Admit Card are allowed to appear in the Recruitment Rally as per the date, time and venue mentioned in the Provisional Admit Card.
