The Himachal Pradesh Public Service Commission (HPPSC) is inviting applications for the position of Unani Medical Officer in the AYUSH Vibhag. There are 2 unreserved posts available, offering a salary range of Rs. 48,700-154,300. Qualifications Details for HPPSC Recruitment 2024
- Matric pass or its equivalent from a recognised Board of School Education/University
- 05 years Degree in Unani (BUMS) from a recognised university/Board/Institutions included in the 2nd Schedule of Indian Medicine Central Council Act, 1970.
- At least six months rotary internship
- Should be registered with the H.P. Board of Ayurveda & Unani.
- Knowledge of customs, manner and dialects of Himachal Pradesh and suitability for appointment in the peculiary conditions prevailing in the Pradesh.
Age Limit for HPPSC Recruitment 2024
Provided that the upper age limit is relaxable by five years for candidates belonging to the Scheduled Castes/ Scheduled Tribes/ Other BackwardClasses / Persons with disabilities and Children/Grand Children ofFreedom Fighters of Himachal Pradesh as declared by the Govt. from timeto time. The age relaxation for these categories shall be admissible only if there is a post reserved for these categories.

Selection Process for HPPSC Recruitment 2024
The recruitment process comprises two stages: the Screening/Preliminary Exam and the Personality Test. Note that the examination centers may be changed at the discretion of the Commission. Every effort will be made to allocate the preferred examination centers to the candidates, but it cannot be guaranteed.
