HPCL is seeking dynamic and motivated candidates with B.Sc, M.Sc, Diploma, or PG Diploma qualifications (as specified under Sl. No. 2 of the educational qualifications in the advertisement) to join as Fixed Term Project Associates (FTPA) on a fixed-term basis at the HP Green R&D Centre, Bengaluru.

M.Sc. in:

B.Sc. in:

Pay Scale for HPCL Recruitment 2024
- An all-inclusive stipend of Rs. 40,000/- to Rs. 50,000/- per month depending on qualification & experience, is payable (subject to revision). This includes Accident Insurance, Medical Insurance, etc.
- The company does not provide any transport facility for commuting to office. However, there is a sharing bus facility which has to be availed by the PROJECT ASSOCIATEs on pay and use basis.
- Breakfast and lunch facilities are provided at the office premises for which a nominal monthly lump sum amount will be deducted.
- The premium towards Insurances will be deducted from the stipend.
- As part of the discharge of their duties they may be required to travel to other locations.
- Work related travel expenses will be separately reimbursed as per the entitlements
Age Limit for HPCL Recruitment 2024
- Age Limit: Candidates must be 28 years old or younger as of the last date for receiving applications, which is September 30, 2024.
- Age Relaxation: Age relaxation for OBC (Non-Creamy Layer), SC/ST, and PWD candidates will be provided in accordance with Government directives.
- Age and Experience Computation: All calculations related to age, relevant experience, and qualifications will be based on the last date for receiving online applications, which is September 30, 2024.
Selection Procedure for HPCL Recruitment 2024
Selection will be based on the screening of applications and testimonials according to the eligibility norms, followed by a personal interview conducted by the Selection Committee.
If the number of applications is high, the Corporation may use one or more of the following criteria to shortlist candidates for the interview:
- Higher educational qualifications than the minimum prescribed in the advertisement.
- More relevant experience than the minimum required.
- Number of patents or high impact factor publications (where applicable).
- Screening based on eligibility criteria.
- Resume shortlisting, considering work experience and academic marks (aggregate marks of all semesters/years, irrespective of weightage).
- Conducting a written test.
Incomplete applications will be rejected outright.
A merit list will be created based on the shortlisting criteria, computer-based tests, and personal interviews, with offers of appointment made according to available vacancies in each category and discipline. Candidates from SC/ST/OBC-NC and PwBD categories will be assessed under relaxed standards during the personal interview.
A category-wise merit list will be drawn based on scores in interviews, with minimum qualifying marks set at 60% for UR and EWS, and 54% for OBC-NC/SC/ST/PwBD candidates.

- Ensure you have a scanned copy of your passport-sized photograph (in JPG/GIF format, less than 50 KB) and a soft copy of your detailed CV (including a brief description of your PhD topic if applicable) ready before filling out the online application form.
- Complete the online application form with all relevant details carefully, as changes cannot be made once submitted. Upload the scanned copy of your latest passport-sized photograph and your detailed CV.
- After completing the form, submit it by clicking the "Submit" button at the bottom of the page. You will receive a system-generated unique 12-digit Application/Reference Number. This number is important and will be required for all future references throughout the selection process.
- Print out the Online Application Form, affix your recent passport-sized photograph, sign in the space provided, and keep it safely for your records. There is no need to send a hard copy of the application form to HPCL.
- Candidates submitting multiple applications for the same discipline may be disqualified.
