Applications are being invited from eligible employees currently holding the position of Assistant, Pay Level 6, at HNB Garhwal University for recruitment to vacant Section Officer positions under the 25% quota of Limited Departmental Competitive Examination (LDCE) in accordance with the Cadre Recruitment Rules 2019.
There are 6 vacant posts available at Pay Level 7. The eligibility criteria for this LDCE include being an Assistant with a minimum of three years of regular service in Level 6. Qualifications Details for HNBGU Recruitment 2024
The Section Officer Limited Departmental Competitive Examination (LDCE) is an opportunity for Assistants who have completed three years of regular service at Level 6. This examination accounts for 25% of the selection process and includes a written test and skill assessment. If an Assistant fails to qualify through the LDCE, they may still be considered for promotion through deputation.
Pay Scale for HNBGU Recruitment 2024
The University is seeking applications for the position of Section Officer, Pay Level 7, with six vacancies available. Eligible employees currently serving as Assistants at Pay Level 6 are invited to apply using the provided format. These vacancies will be filled through the Limited Departmental Competitive Examination (LDCE), constituting 25% of the quota, as per the Cadre Recruitment Rules 2019 of HNB Garhwal University.
Selection Process for HNBGU Recruitment 2024
- The promotion through Limited Departmental Competitive Exam (LDCE) for the position of Section Officer, Pay Level 7, offers 11 vacancies. The examination scheme comprises three components: a written test consisting of Paper-1, with both objective and descriptive sections, and a proficiency test in ICT. Paper-1 covers General Studies, while Paper-II focuses on University Administration.
- Paper-1 includes 2 objective questions worth 30 marks and a descriptive section worth 30 marks, both to be completed within one hour. Paper-II involves answering 5-10 questions for a total of 30 marks, also within one hour. Additionally, there's an ICT proficiency test worth 40 marks, to be completed in 30 minutes. In total, the examination carries 100 marks.
- Final selection will be subject to the fitness (service records) of the candidate as per the CRR/Gol rules.
