General Manager – Chefair Mumbai (CFCM)

• Responsibilities: Oversee daily flight catering operations, ensure compliance with health and safety standards, maintain client relationships, and identify business growth opportunities.
• Qualifications: Graduate; Diploma in Hotel Management or Food Technology preferred.
• Experience: 12 years in flight kitchen or airline catering operations.

Sales Manager - HCI

• Responsibilities: Generate business, maintain client relationships, and explore new opportunities.
• Qualifications: Graduate; MBA in Marketing preferred.
• Experience: 5 years in flight catering or hospitality, with 3 years in sales.

Dy. Chief Engineer-CFCM

• Responsibilities: Manage engineering matters, ensure equipment efficiency, oversee maintenance, and handle facility repairs and upgrades.
• Qualifications: Graduate in Engineering; experience in Civil, HVAC, Electrical, and Mechanical fields.
• Experience: 7 years in engineering, with 2 years in a flight kitchen or hotel.

Manager-Quality Control-CFCM

• Responsibilities: Develop and implement HACCP systems, monitor product safety, and ensure quality control.
• Qualifications: Diploma/Degree in Hotel Management or Food Technology; Quality Control/Assurance diploma preferred.
• Experience: 5 years in food industry with 2 years in quality assurance.

Chief Security-cum-Fire Officer

• Responsibilities: Oversee security and fire safety, liaise with BCAS, and ensure compliance with safety guidelines.
• Qualifications: Graduate with Safety/Security and Fire Fighting certification; BASIC AVSEC preferred.
• Experience: 5 years in security or fire safety, with preference for airline catering experience.

Manager – Personnel

• Responsibilities: Handle HR and training, ensure legal compliance, and manage industrial relations.
• Qualifications: Graduate; MBA in HR or Post Graduate Diploma in Labour Law preferred.
• Experience: 5 years in HR, with added advantage in hotel/flight catering.

Manager - Purchase

• Responsibilities: Ensure sourcing and procurement meet quality standards, manage inventory.
• Qualifications: Graduate; Degree/Diploma in Materials Management or Business Management preferred.
• Experience: 5 years in procurement, with added advantage in hospitality or flight catering.

Manager - Business Process Reengineering

• Responsibilities: Analyze and improve business processes, manage reengineering projects, and drive continuous improvement.
• Qualifications: Graduate; certification in process improvement or project management preferred.
• Experience: 5 years in business process management, with preference for experience in hospitality or catering.

Chef-de-Partie (Bakery)

• Responsibilities: Manage bakery, pastry, and confectionery operations.
• Qualifications: Degree or Diploma in Culinary Management.
• Experience: 6 years in bakery/pastry in hospitality or flight kitchen.

Commis-I (Bakery)

• Responsibilities: Prepare bakery and confectionery items.
• Qualifications: Graduate with Food Production certification or 10+2 with culinary arts certification.
• Experience: 5 years in bakery/pastry in hospitality or flight kitchen.

Associate Culinary (Bakery)

• Responsibilities: Prepare dishes per SOPs.
• Qualifications: Literate with 5 years’ experience or 1.5 years of culinary diploma/apprenticeship.
• Experience: 1 year in culinary department of a reputed hospitality brand or flight kitchen.

Pay Scale for HCIL Recruitment 2024

During the FTC period of 3 years, the candidate will draw the monthly CTC as indicated above for the post as applicable and Statutory deductions such as PF, etc. Based on consistent exceptional performance, extension of services and CTC will be reviewed every year

Place of Posting for HCIL Recruitment 2024

All positions are based at Chefair Mumbai. The nature of work and the posting can, however, be amended as per the requirement and at the sole discretion of the Company.

Age Limit for HCIL Recruitment 2024

• For the position of General Manager, the upper age limit is 55 years, while for all other posts, the upper age limit is 50 years. In the case of reserved categories, the upper age limit is relaxed by 5 years for SC/ST candidates and 3 years for OBC candidates.
• Ex-Servicemen are eligible for age relaxation according to the rules set by the Government of India. Candidates claiming age relaxation must present the original certificate issued by the appropriate authority for Central Government employment.

Documents Required for HCIL Recruitment 2024

a. Date of birth.

b. Educational Qualification & Professional Qualification.

c. Experience Certificate or the Appointment Letter and Relieving Letter/ Full & Final Clearance Letter from all the previous employers.

d. Applicants serving in Government/ Semi-Government/ Public Sector Undertakings or Autonomous bodies may route their Applications through proper channel or along with the “No Objection Certificate” from their present employer.

e. Names along with email ID and Telephone/ Mobile Nos. of the reporting managers from the previous 3 organizations to be provided for Reference Checks.

f. Candidates are required to show their original Indian Passport (Preferably, the Passport should not be issued before 1 April 2021) and submit a self-attested photocopy of the first and last pages of the Passport. Candidate will also be required to submit a Police Verification certificate, which upon selection will have to be produced in original, prior to being appointed.

g. Candidates already working with Hotel Corporation of India Limited and wanting to apply for any of the above mentioned posts are required to submit their applications with the written consent of the concerned Unit Head, wherever applicable, through their current Reporting Manager.

h. Candidates not fulfilling all the criteria and / or unable to show the supporting documents in original in support of their candidature, as stated above, will not be allowed to appear for the interview and the candidature shall be disqualified.

HCIL Recruitment 2024 Last Date to Apply

• Interested candidates, who fulfill the above eligibility criteria as on September 01, 2024, are required to send the completed Application Form (see prescribed format below) along with the self-attested documents in support of their candidature.
