Applications are invited from the eligible Indian Citizens who are Natives / Residents of the Union Territory of Puducherry for Direct recruitment to the post of LECTURER (Group 'B'- Non-Gazetted, Non-Ministerial) on regular basis in the Directorate of School Education

- B.A. (French) & M.A.(French)

- B. Sc. (Maths) & M.Sc. (Maths)
- B. Sc. (Physics) & M.Sc. (Physics)
- B. Sc. (Chemistry) & M.Sc. (Chemistry)

- B. Sc.(Zoology) & M.Sc.(Zoology)

- Candidates who are in possession of Post Graduate Degree / Bachelor's Degree in different names in the above said disciplines should enclose a copy of the Equivalence Certificate obtained from the Universities concerned that the Post Graduate Degree / Bachelor's Degree(s) awarded to them is/are equivalent to the Degrees) specified above in the relevant subject.
- B.Ed or B.T. of any recognized University.
- Should have studied the particular regional language (Tamil/Telugu/Malayalam) as one of the subjects in the Secondary level.
Government of Puducherry Recruitment 2024 Age Limit
- The applicant shall not be exceeding 30 years of age as on 17-02-2024, the last date for submission of online application.
- Age limit is relaxable for OBC, EBC, MBC, BCM, SC and Persons with Benchmark Disability, Widows / Divorced Women / Women judicially separated from their husbands and who are not re-married and In-service
Selection Process for Government of Puducherry Recruitment 2024
There shall be 100 marks for selection by giving weightage to the marks secured in the Academic Qualification and to the Employment Exchange Registration Seniority as detailed below;
- 90% weightage for the Essential Qualification in the respective discipline and
- 10% weightage for Employment Exchange Seniority.

(or) Scan your recent passport size Photograph in JPEG format with 238 x 306 pixel (size not exceeding 50KB) and Signature in JPEG format with 350 x 150 pixel (size not exceeding 30KB) and upload it separately.
- Online registration and submission of onlineapplication is opened from 10.00 A.M on 19-01-2024 and will remain closed at 5.45 P.M on 17-02-2024.
- Last date for submission of hard copy of online application is 23.02.2024 05:00 P.M.
