Position, Vacancy for Goa PSC Recruitment 2024

Qualification for Goa PSC Recruitment 2024
Assistant Professor
- Officers under the Central/State Governments/Union Territories Administration holding analogous posts(Period of Deputation shall ordinarily not exceed three years). B.E./B.Tech. and M.E./ /M.Tech. in relevant branch from a recognized University with First Class or equivalent either in B.E./B.Tech. or M.E./M.Tech.
- Good Academic record with at least 55%* of marks or equivalent grade at Master’s Degree level in the relevant subject from an Indian University or an equivalent degree from a foreign University. (ii) National Eligibility Test (NET)/State Level Eligibility Test (SET) shall remain the compulsory requirement for appointment as Assistant Professor: Provided, however, that candidates who are or have been awarded
- Ph. D. Degree in compliance of the “University Grants Commission (minimum standards and procedure for award of Ph. D. Degree), Regulation 2009, shall be exempted from the requirement of the minimum eligibility condition of NET/SET for recruitment and appointment of Assistant Professor or equivalent positions in Colleges”. (iii) Knowledge of Konkani.
Clinical Psychologist
(i) Master’s Degree in Psychology from a recognised University or equivalent. (ii) Master of Philosophy(Clinical Psychology) or Diploma in Medical and Social Psychology (Two years course) from a recognized University/Institution or equivalent. (iii) Two years experience of working in the field of Psychology or Clinical Psychology or Medical and Social Psychology including psychological testing and counseling. (iv) Knowledge of Konkani.
Junior Radiologist
(i) A recognized Medical qualification included in the First or Second Schedule or Part II of the Third Schedule (other than Licentiate qualification) to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 (102 of 1956). Holders of educational qualifications included in Part II of the Third Schedule should also fulfill the conditions stipulated in sub-section (3) of section 13 of the said Indian Medical Council Act, 1956. (ii) Postgraduate degree, failing which post-graduate diploma, in the speciality concerned. (iii) In case of Diploma holders, Work in responsible position connected with the speciality concerned for 2 years after postgraduation Diploma. (iv) Knowledge of Konkani.
Professor
- Bachelors and Masters Degree in Architecture with First Class or equivalent, either in Bachelors Masters or degree. Ph. D. or equivalent in appropriate discipline. Minimum of 10 years Teaching/Research/Industrial experience, out of which, at least 5 years should be at the level of Associate Professor.
- Ph.D. or equivalent, from a recognized University in appropriate discipline. (Persons guiding Ph.D. students and having Post Ph.D. Publications is highly desirable). (ii) B.E./B.Tech. and M.E./ /M.Tech. in relevant branch from a recognized University with First Class or equivalent either in B.E./B.Tech. or M.E./M.Tech.
- Minimum 10 years experience in teaching/research/industry out of which at least 5 years shall be at the level of Associate Professor
Associate Professor
- Ph.D. or equivalent, from a recognized University in appropriate discipline. (Person guiding Ph.D. students and having Post Ph.D. Publications is highly desirable). (ii) B.E./B.Tech. and M.E./ /M.Tech. in relevant branch from a recognized University with First Class or equivalent either in B.E./B.Tech. or M.E./M.Tech.
- Minimum 5 years experience in Teaching/Research/Industry out of which 2 years Post Ph.D. experience is desirable. (iv) Knowledge of Konkani.
Lecturer
- First Class Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or equivalent qualification. (ii) Knowledge of Konkani.
Probation Officer
- Master’s degree in Social Service /Social Welfare / Social Work /Sociology /Psychology/Home Science with Nutrition or Child development as a subject from a recognised University or equivalent. (ii) Knowledge of Konkani.
Pay Scale, Age Limit for Goa PSC Recruitment 2024
- Assistant Professor: Rs. 15,600-39,100+6,000/- (pre-revised) (As per revised pay matrix level 10) Age: Not exceeding 45 years
- Clinical Psychologist: As per revised pay matrix level 11 Age: Not exceeding 45 years.
- Junior Radiologist: Rs. 15,600-39,100+5,400/- (pre-revised) (As per revised pay matrix level 10) Age: Not exceeding 45 years.
- Professor: Level-14 (Rs. 37400-67000+GP 10,000/- pre-revised) Age: Not exceeding 50 years
- Associate Professor: Level 13-A1 (Rs. 37400-67000+GP 9,000/- pre-revised) Age: Not exceeding 45 years
- Lecturer: As per revised pay matrix level 9A Age: Not exceeding 45 years.
- Probation Officer: Rs.9,300-34,800 + GP 4600/-( As per pay matrix Level-7) Age: Not exceeding 45 years

- The last date for filling up the applications for all posts other than the posts by transfer on deputation is 24.05.2024.
- The last date for filling up the applications for transfer on deputation posts only is 24.06.2024.

- Candidates should carefully read the “Instructions” available on Commission’s website before filling the application online.
- In case of non-availability of suitable candidates with the knowledge of Konkani, the Goa Public Service Commission may recommend a candidate if otherwise found fit and this requirement can be relaxed by the Government, on the recommendation of the Goa Public Service Commission, if the Government is of the opinion that it is necessary or expedient so to do in case of Group ‘A’ posts in Professional Colleges and Consultants in the Directorate of Health Services.
- Prescribed EQs are minimum & mere possession of same does not entitle the candidates to be called for interview. Where number of applications received is large, the Commission will short list the candidates to be called for interview as mentioned in the “Instructions”.
