The Gujarat National Law University is seeking a Research Associate for a ten-month contract position, with the possibility of extension, to work on a project funded by The West Bengal National University of Juridical Sciences. The role involves providing research assistance, conducting interdisciplinary research, developing research tools, analyzing qualitative and quantitative data, and participating in conferences.
Essential criteria include a Master’s Degree in Law with at least 55% marks, knowledge of national and international law research trends, proficiency in MS Office and basic IT, strong analytical and communication skills, and excellent research and writing abilities.
Experience in empirical research, data handling, and teaching/research in premier institutions is highly desirable. Applicants must submit the prescribed application form along with a CV by May 8th, 2024, and only shortlisted candidates will be notified for interviews. The selected candidate must join within ten days of receiving the offer letter and will not be provided on-campus accommodation.

Qualifications Details for GNLU Recruitment 2024
- Master’s Degree in Law or a higher degree with at least 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed) from an Indian University, or an equivalent degree from an accredited Foreign University;
- Good knowledge of latest national and international research trends and developments in Law;
- Working experience in MS Office, basic knowledge of information technology;
- Strong analytical skills, excellent English writing and communication abilities and the ability to manage research projects;
- Excellent research and writing skills.
- Empirical Research experience;
- Experience in handling Qualitative and Quantitative data;
- Prior experience in teaching/ research in premier Institutions/ Universities/ Colleges.
Pay Scale for GNLU Recruitment 2024
GNLU is currently in search of a Research Associate for a ten-month contractual role, potentially extendable, dedicated to a project financed by The West Bengal National University of Juridical Sciences. As a Research Associate, the position offers a fixed salary of Rs. 30,000 per month and is based in Gujarat.
