Qualification for GMRC Recruitment 2024
- Candidates must be a B.E /B.Tech (Electrical/ Electrical & Electronics/Industrial Electronics / Power Electronics or equivalent) engineering graduate from a Govt. recognized University/Institute.
- Area of Experience: Candidates should have relevant post qualification experience like planning, preparation of technical specification, administration of contracts, installation, testing, commissioning and statutory approvals of electric Traction/ HV Power system in railways/metros /other PSUs / private sector.
- Also preferably be experienced with the latest electrical / rolling stock technologies of urban & suburb Rail Systems.
- For General Manager: Applicants should have minimum 20 years of relevant post-qualification experience of Executive Level in a reputed private organisation OR 17 years of relevant post qualification experience of Executive level in Government / PSU's.
- For Addl. General Manager: Applicants should have minimum 18 years of relevant post qualification experience of Executive Level in a reputed private organisation OR 16 years of relevant post-qualification experience of Executive level in Government / PSU's.
Pay Scale for GMRC Recruitment 2024
- For applying to the post of General Manager: Applicants should have at least 2 years’ experience in IDA pay scale of ₹ 100000- 260000 or higher pay scales or equivalent CDA pay scale. Applicants should be working with reputed private organisations drawing a salary (CTC) of minimum Rs. 2,00,000/- per month (approximately).
- For applying to the post of Addl. General Manager: Applicants should have at least 2 years’ experience in IDA pay scale of ₹ 90000- 240000 or higher pay scales or equivalent CDA pay scale. Applicants should be working with reputed private organisations drawing a salary (CTC) of minimum Rs. 1,80,000/- per month (approximately).
Age Limit for GMRC Recruitment 2024
- For General Manager: 55 years for contract basis 58 years for deputation 62 years of post-superannuation basis
- For Addl. General Manager: 53 years for contract basis 58 years for deputation 62 years of post-superannuation basis

Selection Procedure for GMRC Recruitment 2024
- Based on eligibility, candidates meeting the criteria will be called for an interview.
- The Venue, Date and Time of Interview will be informed in advance.
