GMCH (Govt. Medical College & Hospital) Chandigarh has announced recruitment for 03 Project Staff Nurse III positions. The project, funded by ICMR, is titled "HIRP-2023-3274/F1%, Standard therapy versus PLasmalyte In children with Dengue Shock Syndrome (SPLID TRIAL): an open labelled randomised control trial."
Candidates must have a minimum second class or equivalent CGPA with a four-year nursing course, with research experience being desirable. The salary offered is Rs. 33,040/- per month. Age relaxation will be provided to SC/ST/OBC categories as per ICMR/Govt rules.
The selection process involves shortlisting based on qualifications and work experience, followed by a possible written test. Shortlisted candidates will undergo an interview on May 15, 2024, and the list of selected candidates will be displayed on the GMCH website. Applications must reach the Pediatric office, Deptt. of Pediatrics, Block D, Level 4, GMCH, Chandigarh, by May 5, 2024, along with necessary documents.

Qualification for GMCH Recruitment 2024

Pay Scale for GMCH Recruitment 2024
For GMCH Recruitment 2024, the pay scale for the position of Project Staff Nurse III is remuneration at Rs. 28,000/- per month along with 18% House Rent Allowance (HRA), totaling Rs. 33,040/- per month.
Age Limit for GMCH Recruitment 2024
Carou Age relaxation will be given as per ICMR/Govt rules to SC/ST/OBC categories on production of appropriate certificate. It is the responsibility of the candidate to ensure that the applications are reached timely. Applications received after due date shall be summarily rejected.
Selection Procedure for GMCH Recruitment 2024
- The candidates will initially be shortlisted based on the qualification and the work experience. If number of candidates are more, a written test might be taken on 7/5/2024.
- The list of shortlisted candidates for the interview shall be displayed on the website by 08.05.24. Interview for post will be held in PIA Room, Block D, Level 2, Room no. 226, GMCH, Chandigarh on 15" May, 2024 at 11am.
- The list of selected candidates shall also be displayed on the GMCH website.
- No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview. Bring the hard copies of all certificates on the date of interview.

- The hardcopies of application along with self-attested photocopies of certificates must reach in the Pediatric office, Deptt. of Pediatrics, Block D, Level 4, GMCH, Chandigarh on or before May 5, 2024 up to 5:00 p.m., failing which application will not be considered.
