The Department of Biochemistry at CBSH is seeking applications for the award of Young Professional-I for a project focused on enhancing the livelihood of local farmers in the Himalayan regions through value addition in buckwheat cultivars. Under the supervision of Dr. K. C. Verma, the fellowship offers an emolument of Rs. 15,000 per month for a duration of six months, with the possibility of extension based on performance and funding agency approval.
Applicants must be graduates in Biochemistry or related fields and possess experience in hill geography, phytochemical analysis, and tissue culture work, particularly in Uttarakhand. The deadline for receiving applications is May 13, 2024, with interviews scheduled for May 14, 2024, at 3:00 PM.
Interested candidates should submit their applications directly to the principal investigator, and no separate interview letters will be issued. Additionally, no travel allowance will be provided for attending the interview, and self-attested copies of all relevant documents must be enclosed with the application. Qualifications Details for GBPUAT Recruitment 2024
- Graduate in Biochemistry/ZBC(Zoology, Botany, Chemistry)
- Candidate should be well familiar with the hill geography of Uttarakhand for sample collections
- Candidate should have working experience of phytochemical analysis and tissue culture work
Pay Scale for GBPUAT Recruitment 2024
The fellowship duration is six months, with the potential for extension contingent upon performance and approval from the funding agency. The monthly emolument for the fellowship is Rs. 15,000.

the interview. The engagement will be given for six months which may be extended as per requirement.
Self attested copies of all certificated/degree/testimonials must be enclosed. Original should be produced at the time of interview. No interim correspondence will be entertained. In case of non-availability of reserved category candidates, general/ other category candidate may be considered.
