GBPUAT Recruitment 2024 Notification Out Teaching Personnel Vacancies, Check Eligibility at gbpuat.ac.in
Applications are invited for four teaching positions in the Department of Food Science and Technology on a contractual basis for the ll Semester 2023-24. The positions include three for UR candidates and one for OBC candidates.
The pay is set at Rs. 2,650 per hour with a maximum of Rs. 30,000 per month for candidates meeting Assistant Professor eligibility criteria and Rs. 2,550 per hour with a maximum of Rs. 25,000 per month for those not meeting eligibility.
Essential qualifications include a Ph.D. or Doctorate in Food Science and Technology or related field, or a Master's degree with at least 60% marks. A relaxation of 5% is available for certain candidates. NET/SLET is mandatory for Master's degree holders, with exceptions for Ph.D. holders with specific publications. Prior teaching experience is desirable. Applications must be submitted via email by April 23, 2024.

Qualifications Details for GBPUAT Recruitment 2024
- Essential Qualifications for Assistant Professors: Ph.D. /Doctorate Degree in the subject concerned (Food Science and Technology) or related field/ Master's degree in the concerned discipline with at least 60% marks or equivalent in the point scale system.
- A relaxation of 5% may be provided at the graduate and Master's level for the Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe/Differently-able (Physically and visually differently-able) candidates.
- For candidates having Masters degrec, NET (National Eligibility Test) / SLET shall remain compulsory alongwith one publication in NAAS rated referred journals.
- Essentiality of NET is waived off for the candidates holding Ph.D. degree with course work, alongwith at least two full length publications having a NAAS rating not less than 4, on the last date of submission of application.
- The candidates with Ph.D. degree without course work will not qualify for NET exemption.
- Desirable qualifications for Teaching Personnel Positions Prior experience of Teaching UG / PG courses of Food Science and Technology, at College or / University level.
Pay Scale for GBPUAT Recruitment 2024
- Applications are invited for four teaching positions in the Department of Food Science and Technology for the ll Semester 2023-24 on a contractual basis. Out of these, three positions are reserved for UR candidates and one for OBC candidates.
- The remuneration is set at Rs. 2,650 per hour, with a maximum of Rs. 30,000 per month for candidates fulfilling the eligibility criteria of Assistant Professors in the University. For candidates not meeting this eligibility, the pay is Rs. 2,550 per hour, with a maximum of Rs. 25,000 per month. Any further revisions will be in accordance with Order No. PMA/DPO/F-270/8266 dated 29.06.2015.

- The last date of submission of application to the office of Head, Deptt of Food Science and Technology, College of Agriculture through e-mail only at [email protected] is 23.04.2024 till 9.30 am
- The candidates may have to make presentation on any topic related to Food Science and appear in interview on 23.04.2024, at 9.30 am onwards in office of the Head, Deptt of Food Science & Tech., College of Agriculture, Pantnagar. The candidates should bring their original certificates and a set of attested copies with respect to academic qualifications, teaching experience, publications, and category as applicable, indicated in the application form at the time of interview.
- Number of seats may increase or decrease as per change in requirements. The College further reserves the right not to fill any of the posts at its discretion without assigning any reason. Selected candidates shall be engaged on contractual basis for II Semester 2023-24 only and shall be required to join the duties immediately.
