Gauhati University is seeking motivated candidates for the position of CRS Project Fellow (Junior) in the Department of Mathematics under a UGC-DAE CSR project titled "Fractional Computational Modelling in Radiobiology." The position is temporary and will end with the project.

The essential qualification is an M.Sc. in Mathematics with a minimum of 55% marks, with desirable skills including basic knowledge of biology and proficiency in MATLAB/Mathematica. The fellowship for the Junior-I position is Rs. 14,000/- per month plus HRA, with the possibility of higher fellowships based on qualifications and experience.

Qualifications Details for Gauhati University Recruitment 2024

CRS Project Fellow (Junior)-lI: M.Sc. (not earlier than 3 years) with a minimum of 55% marks in Mathematics. +valid JEST/GATE/NET-JRF/Lectureship/UGC- CSIR NET JRF/Lectureship +Ph.D Registration of the student under the supervision of the Pl at the University where Pl's institute is affiliated.

CRS Project Fellow (Senior)-I: After completion of 2 years as a CRS Project Fellow (Junior)-I + at least one research paper in a reputed SCI journal + assessment of the student by a 3 member expert committee approved by the Centre-Director.

CRS Project Fellow (Senior)-II: After completion of 2 years as a CRS Project Fellow (Junior)-II + at least one research paper in a reputed SCI journal + assessment of the student by a 3 member expert committee approved by the Centre-Director

Pay Scale for Gauhati University Recruitment 2024

Fellowship: Rs. 14,000/-+ HRA per month as CRS Project Fellow (Junior)-I. However, the Project also offers the following monthly fellowship options for the eligible selected candidate.

• CRS Project Fellow (Junior)-lI: Rs.31,000/-+HRA
• CRS Project Fellow (Senior)-I: Rs.16,000/- +HRA
• CRS Project Fellow (Senior)-II: Rs.35,00/- +HRA
