Qualifications Details for GAIL Recruitment 2024

• Minimum MBBS with completed internship and registration with Medical Council of India.
• Post qualification experience will be desirable
• Minimum essential educational qualification(s) required shall be as indicated in Table-II against the post.
• Only full time Regular courses will be considered.
• All minimum essential qualification(s) must be from UGC recognized Indian University/ UGC recognized Indian Deemed University or AICTE approved courses from Autonomous Indian Institutions/ concerned statutory council (wherever applicable).
• MBBS Degree acquired should be recognised by Medical Council of India.
• Candidates should be registered either with Medical Council of India or with State Medical Council.
• Internship training shall not be considered as work experience for the post of Factory Medical Officer.

Age Relaxation for GAIL Recruitment 2024

• Relaxation and concessions for Persons with Disabilities (PWDs) category candidates will be in accordance with the Government directives in this regard.

Pay Scale for GAIL Recruitment 2024

• Consolidated Monthly Fees of Rs. 93,000/- (Rupees Ninety Three Thousand Only) will be paid per month.
• OPD expenses (as in-house medical facility not available at GAIL, Khera) of Rs.1,000/- per month
• Family floater insurance cover of Rs.5 Lakhs for indoor treatment in respect of self, spouse and two immediate dependents i.e. children and/ or parents.
• Personal Accident Insurance Policy for an amount of Rs.12 Lakhs respectively to cover any eventuality including disability and medical treatment therefor.
• Bachelor/ Family Accommodation shall be provided as per the entitlement for Sr. Officer/ Sr. Engineer in the Residential Colonies of GAIL subject to availability and License Fee Recovery (LFR) shall be made accordingly. Water, electricity charges and any other charges as applicable shall be recovered as per the rules.
• TA/DA etc., entitlement will be regulated similar to that for accommodation.
• Factory Medical Officer will be entitled for 12 CL and 12 paid leave in a calendar year. For pro-rata calculation, 1 CL and 1 paid leave for a month may be taken. He will also be entitled to compensatory off for attending extra duty. Paid leave can be accumulated/ carried forward but not casual leave.
• Engagement as Factory Medical Officer is temporary and purely on contract basis. Initial period of engagement shall be for 12 months. Based on the performance, period of engagement can be extended further on yearly basis (maximum upto 30.06.2027).
• If the same doctor is allowed to continue for further beyond initial 12 months period (maximum upto 30.06.2027 on yearly basis), the additional annual increment will be Rs. 2,800 per Month.
• All the above benefits will be governed by the policy of the Company in force & amended from time to time.

Selection Process for GAIL Recruitment 2024

• Candidates fulfilling all the eligibility criteria (based on the application as submitted), will be considered for further Selection Process. Depending on the number of candidates fulfilling all criteria, candidates will undergo single stage/ multiple stage selection process. In the event of number of applications being large, GAIL will adopt shortlisting criteria to restrict the number of candidates to be called for further selection process to a reasonable number by suitably raising the minimum eligibility standards.
• Screening and selection will be based on the details provided by the candidates, hence it is necessary that only accurate, full and correct information is furnished by the applicants. Furnishing of wrong/ false information will be a disqualification and GAIL will not be responsible for any consequence of furnishing such wrong/ false information.
• Since all the applications will be screened on the basis of data submitted by the candidate in the application form, the candidates must satisfy themselves of the suitability for the position to which they are applying. If at any stage during the recruitment and selection process, it is found that the candidates have furnished false or wrong information, their candidature will be rejected.
