Job Responsibilities for GADVASU Recruitment 2024

Programmer :

• Maintenance and Upgradation of university computers/software programmes/ website.
• Development of programmes for intranet applications.
• Processing of data and record keeping.
• Data digitization.
• Resolving software problems.
• Train end users to operate new or modified programs.
• Any other duty assigned from time to time.

Technician (Network):

• Installation, configuration and maintenance of Network equipment/peripherals.
• To monitor network performance and security, using specialized tools to detect and analyse network traffic, bandwidth usage, and potential security threats.
• To provide technical support to end-users who experience network-related issues, helping them troubleshoot connectivity problems, configure network settings, and use network resources effectively.
• To assist in the IT related work in the University.
• Any other duty assigned from time to time

Technician (Hardware):

• To install, configure, and set up computer hardware components such as CPUs, motherboards, RAM, hard drives, optical drives, graphics cards, and network adapters.
• To install and configure peripheral devices such as printers, scanners, external hard drives, and other devices that connect to computers.
• Performing routine maintenance tasks on computer hardware to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
• To perform repairs or replacements after diagnoses of the issue of hardware components
• To upgrade computer hardware components to improve performance or meet the changing needs of users
• Maintaining an inventory of computer hardware components and peripherals, tracking stock levels, ordering replacement parts when needed, and ensuring that the organisation has the necessary hardware resources available.
• To provide technical support and assistance to end-users who encounter hardware-related issues.
• This may involve providing instructions on how to troubleshoot common problems, helping users connect peripheral devices, or assisting with hardware upgrades.

Selection Process for GADVASU Recruitment 2024

• A skill test of the shortlisted candidate(s) will be conducted.
• The candidates must bring original documents for verification as and when called.
• No TA/DA is permissible for appearing in the skill test/interview/document verification.
