ESIC Recruitment 2024 Notification Out for 10 Super Specialists, Check Eligibility at esic.gov.in
The Employees State Insurance Corporation (ESIC) has announced recruitment for the position of Super Specialists in Chennai, with a total of 10 vacancies. Candidates must possess DM/MCh/DNB or MD/MS qualifications from recognized medical institutions, along with registration with MCI/NMC or State Medical Council. Additionally, they should have five years of experience in the concerned specialty after obtaining the first postgraduate degree.
The walk-in interview is scheduled for May 29, 2024, with document verification from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM and interviews starting at 10:30 AM onwards. Full-time and part-time positions are available, with corresponding salary structures mentioned in the notification.

Position, Vacancy for ESIC Recruitment 2024
- Super Specialists: 10 Posts (UR – Nil, OBC - Nil, SC - 7, ST - 3 and EWS - Nil)
- In case no candidates is available for engagement in a particular reserved category in a particular super specialty, the available suitable candidate(s) in the respective super specialty will be engaged for a period of 44 days at the sole discretion of the ESIC
Qualification for ESIC Recruitment 2024
- MBBS and MD/MS/DNB Degree from MCI/NMC recognized Medical College/ Institution.
- DM/MCH in respective Super Specialty from MCI/NMC recognized Medical College/DNB in concerned super specialty or equivalent.
- Should have registered with MCI/NMC or State Medical Council.
- Five years’ experience in the concerned specialty after obtaining the First Post Graduate degree
- DM/MCh/DNB in the concerned subject. Five years’ experience in the concerned specialty after obtaining the First Post Graduate degree
- During Transition Period MD/MS/DNB in the concerned Broad Specialty subject.
- Special Training for three years in the respective new super specialty subject in a teaching institution/centre of Excellence with dedicated service in that specialty
Pay Scale for ESIC Recruitment 2024
For Full Time Super Specialists:
- Super Specialist (Entry Level) - Rs. 2,00,000/- (Consolidated remuneration) per month. No other allowances in any form shall be admissible.
- Consultant (Senior Level) - Rs. 2,40,000/- (Consolidated remuneration) per month. No other allowances in any form shall be admissible.
For Part Time Super Specialists: - (Duty Hours : 04 hours per day & 04 days in a week)
- Super Specialist (Entry Level) - Rs. 1,00,000/- (Consolidated remuneration) per month for 04 hours per day & 04 days in a week.
- Consultant (Senior Level) - Rs. 1,50,000/- (Consolidated remuneration) per month for 04 hours per day & 04 days in a week.
- In addition Rs. 20, 000/- per month for visiting charge in case of emergency visit and Rs. 1200/- for every additional hour of Super Specialist (Entry Level) and Rs. 1500/- for every additional hour of Consultant (Senior Level) .
- The additional hour of work will be decided by the MS / Dean. No other allowances in any form shall be admissible.
Age Limit for ESIC Recruitment 2024
Upper age limits will be 65 years as on the date of interview
Application Fee for ESIC Recruitment 2024
- SC/ST/PWD/Women Candidates& Ex - Servicemen: NIL
- All other categories: Rs. 500/-
- A Demand Draft for Rs.500/- (as applicable) in favour of ‘ESI Fund Account No.1’ drawn on any scheduled bank payable at Chennai has to be submitted along with application form at the time of document verification cum walk-in Interview
- Fee once paid will not be refunded under any circumstances.
- Only Demand Draft drawn on any Scheduled Bank will be accepted. Application fee Paid by any other mode will not be accepted.
- The Demand Draft must be issued after the date of issue of this advertisement.
Selection Procedure for ESIC Recruitment 2024
- The applications of the candidates which will be received within prescribed date and time and who submit the requisite fee will be scrutinized by the scrutiny committee of the Institute and only the eligible candidates will be called for personal interview before the Selection Committee of the Institute.
- In case, the numbers of applicants are large, the selection committee of the Institute may devise criteria for short-listing of the candidates which may include holding of a Scrutiny Test
- Only the eligible candidates/ provisionally eligible candidates will be called for verification of original documents before the interview.
- However, the eligibility would be provisional subject to fulfilment of all requirements failing which he/she will not be allowed to appear for interview.
- The date and time for interview will be intimated to the eligible/ provisionally eligible candidates only and the same will also be published in the ESIC website. The information regarding eligibility of candidates will be published in ESIC website only (www.esic.gov.in/recruitments)
- The selection will be made on the basis of performance of the candidate in interview before the Selection Board.
- Result will be published on the website (www.esic.gov.in/recruitments).

- Walk-in interview for the post of Super Specialist will be held as per the details mentioned below Date of Document verification & Reporting / closing time: 29.05.2024 (Wednesday) (09.30 AM – 10.30 AM)
- Interview Date & Time: 29.05.2024 (Wednesday) (10.30 AM onwards)
- The aspiring applicants satisfying the eligibility criteria in all respects can appear for the walk-in interview as per the days mentioned above.
- The applicants applying in response to this advertisement should satisfy themselves regarding their eligibility for the post applied for. They must be fulfilling eligibility criteria in all respects as on the date of interview.
- All the candidates are requested to appear for document verification along with duly filled in Application Form as attached within the scheduled time (09.00AM – 11.00 AM) with proper protection like wearing face mask and carrying sanitizer and maintaining social distance.
- No candidate will be entertained to attend document verification after 11.00 AM on all scheduled dates as mentioned above
- Only the Candidates, whose documents are verified and found eligible for the post of Full Time/Part Time Super Specialist will be allowed to attend walk-in interview
- Reservation of posts is applicable as per Government of India Guidelines
- Two post is horizontally reserved for PwD category in identified posts.
- The engagement will be subject to outcome in case of recruitment related litigations if any.
