ESIC Recruitment 2024 Walk-In Interviews for Senior Residents on May 15, 2024
ESIC Hospital in Pune is conducting walk-in interviews for the appointment of Senior Residents on both 1-year and 3-year contract bases. The positions available include Senior Residents for 1-year contracts against the post of General Duty Medical Officer (GDMO) or until regular GDMOs join, and Senior Residents for 3-year contracts under the Senior Residency Scheme.
The interviews are scheduled for May 15, 2024, at ESIC Hospital in Bibvewadi, Pune, for various departments such as General Surgery, Ophthalmology, General Medicine, Pathology, ENT, and Anaesthesia. Candidates should possess MBBS with PG Degree or equivalent qualifications in the respective specialties, or alternatively, have two years of experience after MBBS.
The age limit for applicants is up to 45 years as of the interview date. The remuneration varies based on the contract duration and specialty, with consolidated monthly payments and additional allowances as per 7th CPC and ESIC Headquarters' instructions. Interested candidates meeting the qualifications and experience requirements are encouraged to attend the walk-in interviews

Qualifications Details for ESIC Recruitment 2024
- MBBS with PG Degree or Equivalent / PG Diploma in concerned specialty from recognized university
- If PG degree / diploma candidates are not available in particular specialty, then candidates having 2 years’ experience after MBBS in the concerned specialty may also be considered

Age Limit for ESIC Recruitment 2024
ESIC is seeking Senior Residents for 7 positions, with an age limit of up to 45 years as of the interview date. These positions are available across various departments. Candidates should possess MBBS with PG Degree or equivalent qualifications in the respective specialties, or alternatively, have two years of experience after MBBS
Pay Scale for ESIC Recruitment 2024
- Consolidated Remuneration of Rs. 1,40,139/- Per month (In addition to the pay above, SR- 1 Year will be entitled for Transport Allowance with DA on Transport Allowance as per rules. DA on TA will be revised from time to time as per rules)
- Basic Pay Rs.67700/- in level 11and other allowances (NPA, DA, HRA, TA) as per 7th CPC and ESIC Hqrs. instructions. (less by Rs. 1350/- per month for diploma holder candidate and less by Rs. 2250/- for Non PG, Non- Diploma Candidate)
Selection Process for ESIC Recruitment 2024
- Selected candidates will have to sign Agreement of Terms & Conditions on Rs.100/- Stamp paper to be purchased by the candidate prior to joining.
- All the selected candidates except Ayurvedic Physician must have a professional indemnity policy which should cover the period as desired by ESIC. The policy is meant to cover professional liability falling on them as a result of error and omission committed by them while rendering professional service.
- In case of selection, Offer of appointment will be issued as per requirement
- Candidates need to join duty within 07 days from the date of offer of appointment.
- If the selected candidate does not joins within stipulated time then offer of appointment would be sent to the waitlisted candidate.
- Validity of Waitlist would be for 6 months only
- The selection is subject to the candidates proving their medical fitness.
- The decision of the selection board will be final on all aspects of selection and no further correspondence will be entertained under any circumstance.
Walk-in date for ESIC Recruitment 2024
- Interested candidates may appear for the Walk in interview as per given schedule along with their original documents & Xerox copies in support of their Date of Birth, Proof of Educational Qualification, Experience Certificates. Caste Certificates as per Govt. of India formats, Non-Creamy Layer Certificates as per Govt. of India format valid for the current year / latest in case of OBC.They are advised to appear for interview with duly filled ‘Annexure-A’ which is available on website. Candidates are requested to present one hour before Interview timing mentioned against their specialty
