Qualifications Details for ESIC Recruitment 2024
Faculty: As per NMC / MCI guidelines
Super Speciality:
- A recognized MBBS degree qualification included in first schedule or second Schedule or Part Il of the third Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 (102 of 1956). Holders of Educational qualification included in Part Il of the third schedule should also fulfill Subsection (3) of Section 13 of Indian Medical Council, 1956 (102 of 1956)
- Post Graduate Degree in concerned super speciality.
Senior Residents: PG degree or Diploma in concerned specialty from Recognized University. The candidate should have valid NMC/ State Medical Council/ State Dental Council registration.
Age Limit for ESIC Recruitment 2024
The age limit as of the date of the interview for various posts is as follows:
- For faculty positions, the age limit for Super Specialists (Full/Part Time) is not exceeding 67 years.
- For Senior Residents, the age limit is 45 years, with a relaxation of 5 years for SC/ST candidates and 3 years for OBC candidates.
- Candidates seeking reservation benefits under SC/ST/OBC/EWS categories must produce original certificates in the prescribed format of the Government of India to support their claims. Additionally, the OBC certificate should be the latest and not older than one year from the date of the interview.
Pay Scale for ESIC Recruitment 2024

Teaching Faculty:
- Super Specialist Full Time:
- Consolidated remuneration: Professor (Rs. 201,213), Associate Professor (Rs. 133,802), Assistant Professor (Rs. 114,955).
- Super Specialist Part Time:
- [4 hours, 4 days a week]
- Entry level: Rs. 100,000.
- Consultant Senior level: Rs. 150,000.
- Additional: Rs. 20,000 per month for visiting charges in case of emergency calls after scheduled duty timings, subject to the requirement of the emergency call.
- Additional: Rs. 1,200/1,500 for every additional hour of remuneration beyond 16 hours/week.
- No other allowances will be paid in addition to the consolidated remuneration.
- Super Specialist Full Time:

Senior Residents (3 years):
- Basic Pay: Rs. 67,700 (Level 11) + NPA (pre-revised) + other allowances as admissible under the rules per month.

Consultants:
- Entry Level: Rs. 200,000.
- Senior Level: Rs. 240,000.

To qualify, they must submit proof of purchase of a Demand Draft for Rs. 225 (if applicable) from the bank along with the application form and documents. The Demand Draft, deposited in ESI Fund Account No. 1, should be pre-dated before the interview, and a PDF copy must be emailed to [email protected].
Selection Process for ESIC Recruitment 2024
Selection will be made on the basis of performance of candidate in interview before Selection Board. Result will be displayed on website www.esic.gov.in Selected candidates will have to join immediately or as per schedule after receipt of offer of appointment.
