The Employees State Insurance Corporation (ESIC) has announced recruitment for 02 vacancies of Junior Engineer (Electrical) in ESIC, Tamilnadu Region. Retired Engineers with a Degree/Diploma in Electrical Engineering from a recognized institution are eligible to apply.
The selected candidates will receive a consolidated monthly remuneration of Rs. 33,630. They will be posted at ESIC Medical College in KK Nagar, Chennai, or the Sub Regional Office in Coimbatore. The maximum age limit for this position is 64 years as of the closing date of the application, and the selection will be based on a personal interview.

Position, Vacancy for ESIC Recruitment 2024
Employees State Insurance Corporation (ESIC) is seeking applications from retired Engineers for the position of Junior Engineer (Electrical) for engagement on a contract basis. There are 2 vacancies available for this role in ESIC, Tamilnadu Region.
Qualification for ESIC Recruitment 2024
Degree/ Diploma in Electrical engineering from recognized university/ Institution. Only persons who were Junior Engineer or above at the time of retirement from Central/State PWD Department/ Central or State Public sector undertaking will be considered.
Pay Scale for ESIC Recruitment 2024
- A consolidated amount equivalent to last pay drawn minus pension drawn will be the remuneration/ emolument per month.
- This would be subject to the condition that their pension + remuneration should not exceed the last pay including DA drawn by the official.
- For retired employees from non – pensionable govt./semi-govt. employment like autonomous bodies, PSUs etc. the following consolidated monthly remuneration would be admissible: JEs – Rs.33630/-
- No other perks/benefits such as HRA, CCA, Transport allowance, medical reimbursement shall be allowed
- They will be entitled to a maximum of one day leave for every month of completed service in addition to Government Holidays. No other leave with pay is admissible.
- The employment will be purely contractual in nature and may be terminated with one month’s notice or remuneration in lieu thereof, without assigning reasons thereof.
