Ellaquai Dehati Bank (EDB) is recruiting two Financial Literacy Counsellors on a contractual basis for its financial literacy centers in Anantnag and Udhampur. The contract initially lasts for two years and may be extended based on performance.
Candidates must be graduates with experience in banking or related fields, possessing sound knowledge of banking, law, finance, agriculture, and allied activities. The salary offered is Rs. 15,000 per month, along with conveyance facility for conducting camps.

Position, Vacancy for EDB Recruitment 2024
- Ellaquai Dehati Bank invites applications for engagement of two Financial Literacy Counsellors purely on contractual basis at its financial literacy centers located at Anantnag & Udhampur.
- The contract period will initially be for a period of 2 years and shall be further extendable depending upon the performance of the candidate.
- Number of Positions: Two (02). One each at FLCC Centre Anantnag & FLCC Centre Udhampur.
Qualification for EDB Recruitment 2024
Qualification: Should be a Graduate with experience in banking/related fields and have sound knowledge of banking, law, finance, agriculture and allied activities.
Experience:
The applicant should have requisite communication and team building skills. Knowledge of local language along with working knowledge of Computers is essential. Preference will be given to candidates with knowledge/ skills of having conducted financial literacy camps.
Pay Scale for EDB Recruitment 2024
Rs. 15,000/- Per Month (Rupees Fifteen Thousand Only) in addition to conveyance facility for conduct of camps. Age Limit for EDB Recruitment 2024
- Maximum 65 years as on 01.04.2024 and on the first day/date of Financial year in which contract is to be renewed.
- The applicants for the above position should have retired from any Schedule Commercial Bank including RRBs as officer in JMGS-1 and above. Age of the candidate desirous of applying for the said position should not exceed 63 years as on 01.04.2024.
Selection Procedure for EDB Recruitment 2024
The applications received from the candidates will be screened and shortlisted on the basis of eligibility and relevant experience. The shortlisted candidates will be called for personal interview to assess communication ability, knowledge/skills required for FLC Counsellor in conducting camps, experience in related fields.
