Eastern Coalfields Limited (ECL) is seeking to fill one post for the position of Advisor. Candidates eligible for this role must be between the ages of 60 and 65 throughout the contract period. The Advisor will assist in the preparation and distribution of compensation for land, homestead, and other structures, verify rightful ownership, address objections and complaints, and coordinate with authorities for resolution.
The role also includes monitoring physical and financial progress on Resettlement & Rehabilitation (R&R) activities, engaging with local villagers, and supporting the R&R policy and annuity plan of CIL. The remuneration will be aligned with the equivalent grade in Coal India Limited (CIL), ranging from Rs. 37,500 to Rs. 1,05,000 based on the grade of the superannuated executive.

Qualifications Details for ECL Recruitment 2024
- To assist in preparation of the award / payroll compensation against Land, Homestead and other structures etc.
- To verify and distribute the compensation to PAFs / PAPs having rightful ownership.
- To receive and hear the objections / complain (if any) of the PAFs / PAPs related to their land ownership disputes / payment of compensation against land / homestead etc. and subsequently taking up the matter with
- Appropriate authority at Area / HQ / District for resolution. To monitor the physical and financial progress on R&R activities.
- To engage in regular interaction with the local villagers / PAFs with a view to promote the R&R Policy / Annuity Plan etc. of CIL to motivate them for ensuring smooth possession of land
- To co-ordinate with District Authority / elected peoples representatives for negotiation with PAFs
- To assist the Team constituted by Area General Manager for conducting demographic / Socio-economic survey of different villages.
- Any other job related to R&R to be assigned in time to time.

Pay Scale for ECL Recruitment 2024
The remuneration and benefits for the Advisor position at Eastern Coalfields Limited (ECL) will include a consolidated monthly compensation/honorarium. This will be aligned with the equivalent grade in Coal India Limited (CIL), as follows: Rs. 37,500 for superannuated E2 Grade Executives, Rs. 45,000 for superannuated E3 Grade Executives, Rs. 62,500 for superannuated E5 Grade Executives, Rs. 75,000 for superannuated E6 Grade Executives, Rs. 90,000 for superannuated E7 Grade Executives, and Rs. 1,05,000 for superannuated E8 Grade Executives.
