Electronics Corporation of India Limited (ECIL) has announced recruitment for 30 vacancies for the position of Technician Grade II, based in Hyderabad. Candidates must have a Matriculation/SSC or equivalent qualification along with an ITI certificate (National Trade Certificate) with National Apprentice Certificate (NAC), or one year of relevant experience in manufacturing processes.
The ITI Certificate should be in the specific trades mentioned. The selected candidates will receive a basic pay of Rs. 20,480/- per month with annual increments. The upper age limit for UR candidates is 27 years, with relaxations for SC/ST, OBC, PwD, Ex-servicemen, and candidates domiciled in Jammu & Kashmir.
General/OBC/EWS candidates must pay an application fee of Rs. 750/-, while SC/ST/PwD candidates and regular employees of ECIL are exempted. Qualification for ECIL Recruitment 2024
- The applicant should have Matriculation / SSC or its equivalent plus ITI certificate (National Trade Certificate (NTC)) with National Apprentice Certificate (NAC) OR Matriculation/SSC or its equivalent plus ITI certificate (NTC) with one-year relevant experience in manufacturing processes as on last date of submission of online application.
- The ITI Certificate (NTC) should be in the above-mentioned trade only at Sl No 1 to 4. This includes NTC, Board Based Basic Training as well as advanced modules under Multi skilled training pattern of Directorate General of Labour & Employment being implemented through ITI upgraded as Centre of Excellence in required trades.
Pay Scale for ECIL Recruitment 2024
a) The selected candidates will be placed at the basic pay of Rs. 20,480/-PM with annual increment of 3%.
b) In addition to emoluments as mentioned above PF, Gratuity, Medical benefits, Leave will be applicable as per the rules in force from time to time of the corporation.
Age Limit for ECIL Recruitment 2024
- The upper age for UR Candidate is 27 years as on the last date of submission of online application (i.e., 13.04.2024).
- Age Relaxation shall be allowed up to 40 years for those Contract labours (including On Contract employees) with desirable qualification who have worked/ are working in ECIL.
- The resultant additional relaxation for SC/ ST/ OBC/PwD candidates will also be allowed on this account.
- Upper age limit is relaxable by 5 years for SC/ST and 3 years for OBC candidates.
- The upper age limit is further relaxable by 10 years for Persons with Disabilities (PwD) (degree of disability 40% or above) and 5 years for the candidates who had ordinarily been domiciled in the state of Jammu & Kashmir from 01/01/1980 to 31/12/1989.
- Ex- servicemen are eligible for age relaxation for the service rendered in Defence plus three years.
Application Fee for ECIL Recruitment 2024
- Candidates belonging to General/OBC category (including non-creamy layer)/EWS have to pay a non-refundable application fee of Rs.750/- (Rupees Seven Hundred & Fifty only) including Contract Labour.
- Applicable Bank charges/Taxes, if any, have to be borne by the candidates. Non payment of fees will result in rejection of application.
- SC, ST, PWD and regular employees of ECIL, which includes On Contract employees (currently engaged with ECIL) are exempted from payment of Application fee.
Selection Procedure for ECIL Recruitment 2024
a) The selection methodology will comprise two stage selection process i.e Written test and trade test. No interview shall be conducted.
b) The weightage for Written Test & trade test is 85:15 respectively and 60% in overall for selection of candidates.
c) All eligible candidates shall be called for written test however, for trade test the candidates shall be called in the ratio of 1:4 based on the performance in written test. In case of more than one candidate secured equal Marks in Written test, then the candidate who has scored higher marks in the eligible Qualification will be called for Trade Test.
