ECIL is seeking a Director with a salary ranging from Rs. 180,000 to Rs. 340,000. The ideal candidate should be a Chartered Accountant, Cost Accountant, or possess a full-time MBA/PGDM specializing in Finance from a recognized institution. Preference will be given to Chartered Accountants. Officers from organized Group ‘A’ Accounts Services are exempted from these qualifications.
The age limit is 45 years with a superannuation age of 60 years. The pay scale varies based on specific dates and service requirements. Internal candidates need at least one year of service, while external candidates require two years in the eligible scale. Qualifications Details for ECIL Recruitment 2024
The applicant should be a Chartered Accountant or Cost Accountant or a full time MBA/PGDM course having specialization in Finance with good academic record from a recognized University/Institution. Preference would be given to Chartered Accountant
Officers of Organized Group ‘A’ Accounts Services [i.e. Indian Audit and Accounts Service, Indian Defence Accounts Service, Indian Railway Accounts Service, Indian Civil Accounts Service, Indian P&T Accounts & Finance Service and Indian Cost Accounts Service] working in the appropriate level are exempted from these educational qualifications.
Further, applicants from the Central Govt./Armed Forces of the Union/All India Services, will also be exempted from the educational qualifications as per (i) above provided the applicants have ‘the relevant experience’ as mentioned. In respect of applicants from Organized Group ‘A’ Accounts Services/ Central Government/ Armed Forces of the Union/ All India Services, Chartered Accountant/Cost Accountant/ MBA/ PGDM will be a desirable educational qualification
Age Limit for ECIL Recruitment 2024
Age of superannuation is 60 years as of the date of vacancy. For internal candidates, the minimum residual service required is 2 years and the maximum is 45 years. For candidates from other sources, the minimum residual service required is 3 years, with a maximum of 45 years, both calculated with respect to the date of superannuation.
Pay Scale for ECIL Recruitment 2024
The scale for the post ranges from Rs. 180,000 to Rs. 340,000 (IDA), with different scales applicable before and after specific dates:

- Rs. 9500-11500 (IDA) - Post 01/01/1992
- Rs. 20,500-26,500 (IDA) - Post 01/01/1997

- Rs. 120,000-280,000 (IDA) - Post 01.01.2017
- Rs. 18,400-22,400 (CDA) - Pre-revised Post 01.01.1996
- Rs. 37,400-67,000 + GP 10,000 (CDA) - Post 01/01/2006
- Rs. 144,200-218,200 (Level 14) (CDA) - Post 01/01/2016
Internal candidates require a minimum of one year of service in the eligible scale, whereas external candidates must have a minimum of two years of service in the eligible scale as of the date of the vacancy.
