East Central Railway Recruitment 2024 Notification Out Instructors Vacancies, Check Eligibility at indianrailways.gov.in

East Central Railway is recruiting Instructors (Ex-cadre) for Grade Pay Rs. 4600 and Grade Pay Rs. 4200 positions. Candidates must be Regular JE/SSE in the S&T Department with at least 3 years of field experience on Railways.

The selection process involves a written examination and classroom lecture trial, with applicants needing to secure a minimum of 60% marks to qualify. The last date to apply is 24 April 2024, and applications should be submitted through the proper channel. Selected candidates will be entitled to Training Allowance as per rules, and the initial tenure at IRISET is 3 years, extendable as per administration discretion.

Zonal Railways are required to forward applications of eligible employees who can be relieved to IRISET after selection. The notification details are also available on the IRISET web portal.

Qualification for East Central Railway Recruitment 2024

• The applicants should be working as Regular JE/SSE in S&T Department with a minimum of 3 years of field experience on Railways as on the date of issue of Notification.
• The applicants working in posts of SSE in level 7 are eligible for the ex-cadre Instructor posts in level 7
• The applicants working in posts of JE in level 6 are eligible for the ex-cadre Instructor posts in level 6.
• The supervisors working in the Signalling stream are eligible to apply for Instructor Signal.
• The supervisors working in Telecom stream are eligible to apply for Instructor Telecom.
• The applicants should have good service record & communication skills with aptitude for teaching.

Selection Procedure for East Central Railway Recruitment 2024

• The selection for the posts will comprise of written examination and classroom lecture trial.
• The applicants who have secured minimum 60% marks in the written examination will only be called for classroom lecture trials.
• The minimum aggregate marks in the selection process is 60%.
• The Panel is arranged in the order of merit from those qualified.
• The syllabus for the examination would be the relevant working knowledge required for the supervisors in their respective stream.
• Selected candidates are entitled to draw 'Training Allowance' as admissible from time to time as per extant rules.

• Advance copy application as intimation will also be allowed; however, those candidates ONLY will be allowed to appear for written exam whose application is received through proper channel i.e. PCPO / PCSTE / Cadre Controlling Authority prior to written exam.
• Incomplete applications and applications received after the due date will not be considered.
• The S&T Supervisors already selected/empanelled for the posts of ex-cadre Instructor, TRA & Centre of Excellence and whose currency of panel is not completed i.e. two years from the date of empanelment are not eligible to apply.
• Employees working in ex-cadre post and employees who have already worked in the ex-cadre posts including the post of Instructors in any grade and not completed the cooling off period of one year from the date of repatriation are not eligible to apply.
• Normal tenure at IRISET is 3 years initially which may be extended / curtailed at the discretion of IRISE Administration
• The dates of written examination and classroom lecture trial would be intimated in due course of time.
• List of eligible employees for participating in written examination would be published after the scrutiny applications.
• Those who have volunteered and attended the exam will not be allowed to withdraw their applications at later date and should be in readiness to appear for written examination/Classroom lecture trial.
• Selected employees will not be allowed to decline the post.
• The posts of Instructors are ex-cadre, hence all the posts are un-reserved in terms of Railway Board's letter No. 78(E)SCT 15/16, dated 22.06.1983. Since, the selection is conducted by calling volunteers, supplementary written exam & Classroom lecture trial will be held under any circumstances.
• The willing eligible employees who fulfil the eligibility conditions are required to apply in the prescribed format through their controlling supervisors to the Controlling Officers.
• Controlling officers may verify the particulars mentioned in the application and certify the eligibility duly endorsing in the application and forward application to the concerned Personnel Branch.
• Personnel Branch to verify the details mentioned in the application and forward to the PCPO / PCSTE / Cadre Controlling Authority.
• PCPO/PCSTE/Cadre Controlling Authority may please forward so as to reach Director General, IRISET, Tarnaka Road, Secunderabad-500017 or mail to: [email protected] on or before 24.04.2024. Zonal Railways may kindly forward the applications of those employees who can be relieved to IRISET after the selection.
• The attention of Zonal Railways is drawn to the guidelines of Railway Board issued in this regard vide letter No.E(NG)1/2016/TR/01 dated 08.02.2016 (copy enclosed for ready reference). The notification is also placed on IRISET web portal www.iriset.railnet.gov.in.
