The Delhi Subordinate Services Selection Board was established to recruit proficient, skilled individuals through written tests, professional assessments, and, when necessary, personal interviews, aiming to select capable and competent candidates.

Qualification, Age Limit, Pay Scale for DSSSB Recruitment 2024

Assistant Teacher

• Number Vacancy: 1,455
• Educational and other qualifications: i. Senior Secondary School (Class Twelve) certificate or Intermediate or its equivalent with at least 45% marks from a recognized Board/University. ii. Diploma/Certificate in Nursery Teacher Education programme of a duration of not less than two years or B. Ed.(Nursery) from a recognized Institute. iii. Must have passed Hindi at secondary level.
• Pay Scale: 35,400 – 1,12,400 (Pay Level – 6)
• Age Limit: Not exceeding 30 years

Post Graduate Teacher

• Number Vacancy: 297
• Educational and other qualifications: Master Degree (or its equivalent Oriental Degree in the case of PGT Hindi) in the subject concerned from any recognized University. Master Degree in the subject concerned from any recognized University. Degree in Education
• Pay Scale: 47,600 – 1,51,100/- (Pay Level – 8), Group: ‘B’ (Non-Ministerial, Non-Gazetted)
• Age Limit: 30 years to Below 36 years

Mode of Selection for DSSSB Recruitment 2024

• Candidates' scores in the Computer Based Examination will be normalized, if necessary, using the formula specified in DSSSB Notice No. 10 (271)/Sec.Cell/DSSSB/18/989 dated 11.07.2018. These normalized scores will then determine the final merit and selection process.
• In its pursuit of selecting the most qualified individuals, the Board has established minimum qualifying marks for various categories (UR/SC/ST/OBC/EWS/P.W.D/EX-SM) as follows:
• General/EWS: 40%
• OBC (Delhi): 35%
• SC/ST/PH (PwD): 30%
• Ex-servicemen are eligible for a 5% relaxation in their respective categories, with a minimum requirement of 30%.
• DSSSB retains the right to set a minimum cut-off mark for any position based on candidate availability.
• The ultimate departmental allocation will be determined by candidates' merit rankings and their preferences for departments. Once a department is assigned, the Board will not entertain or permit any changes in departmental allocation.

How to Apply for DSSSB Recruitment 2024

• Prior to submitting online applications, candidates must ensure their registration on DSSSB’s portal, available at https://dsssbonline.nic.in. Instructions for Registration are accessible on the Board’s website.
• Registration with DSSSB is a one-time process. The generated user ID and password should be used for logging in whenever a candidate applies for examinations notified by DSSSB.
• Multiple registrations leading to appearing in an examination more than once will result in the cancellation of candidature and debarment from the Board's examinations.
• Eligible candidates can apply online through the website https://dsssbonline.nic.in from 09/01/2024 until 07/02/2024 (until 11:59 PM), after which the link will be deactivated.
• Carefully reviewing the Instructions For Applying Online is crucial for candidates while completing the Online Application Form for the respective post.
• Applications must be submitted by candidates through Online Mode exclusively. No other method of application will be accepted. Applications received via post, hand-delivery, email, etc., will be summarily rejected. Correspondence regarding such applications will not be entertained.
• The opening date for online application submission is 09/01/2024, and the closing date is 07/02/2024 (11:59 pm).
• Candidates are advised, in their best interest, to submit online applications well in advance of the closing date to avoid any last-minute rush. DSSSB will not be held responsible if candidates fail to submit their applications within the stipulated time limit due to reasons stated to be beyond their control.
