The Defense Research and Development Organization (DRDO) is offering a Research Associateship position at their Kanpur location, with one post available. The position comes with a salary of ₹67,000 per month and a contingency grant of up to ₹20,000 per annum for the first two years. Eligible candidates should have a Ph.D. or equivalent degree in Chemistry, Material Science, or a related discipline from a recognized university.
The maximum age limit for applicants is 35 years as of the interview date, with age relaxations of 5 years for SC/ST candidates and 3 years for OBC candidates, though this does not apply to OBC candidates in the creamy layer. Research Associates are also eligible for House Rent Allowance (HRA) but not for other benefits such as DA, CCA, Bonus, or Retirement benefits.
Medical facilities are available through the Mi Room facility on the campus. Interested candidates may attend a walk-in interview on August 9, 2024, at the DMSRDE Transit Facility in Kanpur, bringing along a bio-data, recent photograph, Xerox copies of testimonials, and original documents for verification.
