DRDO Recruitment 2024 Qualifications Details
Graduate Apprentice: A degree in engineering or technology granted University statutory by an institution empowered to award such degrees by an Act of Parliament.
Graduate Apprentice Trainees (Non-Engineering): A degree granted by a statutory University/ by an institution empowered to award such degrees by an Act of Parliament / Educational Institutes established by a State Government / by an Institute recognized by the State Government or Central Government.
Diploma Apprentice Trainees:
- A diploma in engineering technology granted by a State Council or Boaro of Technica Educational established by a State Government / by a University / by an Institute recognized by the State Government or Central Government as equivalent to a diploma.
- Sandwich course student who undergoing training is in order that he/ she may hold a diploma in Engg Technology.
ITl Apprentice Trainees:
- A certificate in vocational Course involving two years of study after the completion of the secondary stage of school education recognized by the All India Council for Technical Education.
- A sandwich course student who is undergoing training in order that he may hold a certificate is mentioned.

Selection Process for DRDO Recruitment 2024
- Graduate Apprentice Trainees - Engineering (B.E / B.Tech. / Equivalent) / Graduate Apprentice Trainees - Non-Engineering (B.Com. / B.Sc. / B.A/BCA / BBA), Diploma Apprentice Trainees / ITI Apprentice Trainees: Depending upon the vacancies available in various disciplines, selection of candidates will be carried out by shortlisting on the basis of Academic Merit/Written Test/Interview as may be required, subject to satisfactory verification of the documents, Details of shortlisted candidates will be published in DRDO website. Candidates are advised to check regularly on the website for updates.
How to Apply for DRDO Recruitment 2024
- Applications are to be submitted online through the following website/link: rac.gov.in or drdo.gov.in (‘What's New’ section)
- Candidates are requested to fill up the correct details against all the fields along with uploading of scanned copies of all the mandatory documents (as per list).
- Candidates are required to bring a signed printout of the application along with the originals of the documents submitted online at the time of joining at GTRE, Bengaluru.
- Online Applications after the last date would NOT be accepted. Incomplete or partially filled application forms would not be accepted.
- Candidates would be informed through ‘The DRDO website (www.drdo.gov.in) or via email mentioned in their application form regarding any change/amendment/update till the final selection process is completed.
- Selected candidates shall have to sign a contract on the date of joining as per Govt. of India rules.
- Candidates finally selected will have to produce a valid police verification certificate at the time of joining from their place of last residence (for at least past one year) / permanent address.
