DRDO Recruitment 2024 Notification Out Junior Research Fellow Vacancies, Check Eligibility at drdo.gov.in
The Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) is recruiting 28 Junior Research Fellows (JRF) for its Combat Vehicles Research & Development Establishment (CVRDE) in Chennai. Candidates must hold a B.E./B.Tech with First Division from a recognized university and a valid GATE score, or an M.E./M.Tech with First Division at both graduate and postgraduate levels.
The age limit for candidates varies by category: up to 28 years for unreserved, 31 years for OBC (Non-creamy layer), and 33 years for SC/ST applicants. The selected JRFs will receive a consolidated stipend of Rs. 37,000 per month, along with HRA and medical facilities as per rules. Initially, the fellowship is for two years and can be extended as per regulations.
Shortlisted candidates based on academic marks will undergo a written test at CVRDE, Avadi, Chennai, and those who pass will be invited for an interview. Age Limit for DRDO Recruitment 2024
The age limit for candidates, based on their category as of the date of application, is as follows: For unreserved candidates, the age limit is not exceeding 28 years. Candidates belonging to the OBC (Non-creamy layer) category have an age limit of not exceeding 31 years. For SC/ST candidates, the age limit is not exceeding 33 years.
Pay Scale for DRDO Recruitment 2024
- Rs.37,000/- per month (Consolidated stipend / Consolidated Fellowship Emolument)
- HRA and medical facilities shall be admissible as per rules.
- Fellowship is initially for a period of two years and extendable as per rules.
Selection Process for KMRC Recruitment 2024
- The shortlisted candidates on the basis of the B.E / BTech / M.E/ MTech marks will appear for written test at CVRDE, Avadi, Chennai – 600054
- Candidates who do not qualify the Written test will not be considered for Interview.
