DRDO Recruitment 2024 Notification Out Graduate And Technician Apprentice Vacancies, Check Eligibility at drdo.gov.in
The Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) is seeking to fill 54 Graduate and Technician Apprentice positions with a stipend of Rs. 8,000 to Rs. 9,000 per month. Eligible candidates include those with a B.E/B.Tech/Diploma/BBA/B.Com degree who graduated in 2020, 2021, 2022, 2023, or 2024. Those with previous work experience or post-graduate qualifications are ineligible. Applications must be submitted online, with the final date being 7th October 2024.
Candidates must apply through the DRDO website, ensuring that they have registered on the National Apprenticeship Training Scheme (NATS) portal. The application should include a typed form along with self-attested copies of educational certificates and identity proof. Applications must be sent via Speed Post or Registered Post to the specified address in Odisha. Selection will be based on a written test or personal interview.
Selected candidates will be required to sign a 12-month apprenticeship contract and submit a "Medical Fitness Certificate" upon joining. Communication regarding the selection process will be conducted via email, and no travel expenses will be reimbursed. Qualifications Details for DRDO Recruitment 2024
- B.E/B.Tech/Diploma/BBA/B.Com candidates must have registered their names https://www.nats.education.gov.in. Non-registered candidates are likely to be rejected. at
- The candidates who have passed their B.E/B.Tech/Diploma/BBA/B.Com degree in the year 2020, 2021, 2022, 2023 & 2024 are eligible to apply.
- Candidates who have passed the qualifying examination earlier than 2020 are not eligible.
- Candidates with post graduate qualification are not eligible to apply.
- Those candidates who have completed the qualifying examination as regular candidates are only eligible to apply.
- B.E/B.Tech/Diploma/BBA/B.Com degree holders who had training or job experience for a period of one 5 year or more after attaining the essential qualifications shall NOT be eligible for being engaged as an apprentice under the act.
Pay Scale for DRDO Recruitment 2024
- Graduate Apprentice posts, which require a B.E/B.Tech degree in fields such as Computer Science & Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Electrical & Electronics Engineering, or similar disciplines, the monthly stipend is Rs. 9,000.
- Technician (Diploma) Apprentice posts, requiring a diploma in fields such as Computer Science & Information Technology, Electronics Engineering, Electrical & Electronics Engineering, or similar areas, the monthly stipend is Rs. 8,000.
Terms and Condition for DRDO Recruitment 2024

- The period of training will be 12 months commencing from execution of the Contract of Apprenticeship.
- Selected candidates have to submit the "Medical Fitness Certificate" at the time of joining.
- Verification of credentials shall be done for selected candidates prior to creation of contract.
- In case of any deviation or non-conformity with the desired qualification, candidature of the candidate shall be summarily rejected.
- No TA/DA will be paid to the applicants called for at any stage of the selection process.
- The Selected candidates must execute a Contract for a period of 12 months of training as per provisions of the Apprentices Act, 1961 and rules framed there under.
- Before applying, the candidate should ensure that he/she fulfills the eligibility criteria and other norms mentioned in the advertisement.

- Applications are invited from the eligible candidates in the prescribed form given at website www.drdo.gov.in.
- The typed application along with the self attested photocopies of documents (all educational mark sheets, Certificates (10th, 12th, Diploma, B.Tech/BBA/B.Com), Caste Certificate & Identity Proof) should reach to the "Director, Integrated Test Range (ITR), Chandipur, Balasore, Odisha-756025" on or before 07th October 2024 by Speed Post / Registered Post Only.
- The application form should be typewritten. Handwritten Application except signature will not be accepted.
- All information regarding Written Test/Interview, Call letters, etc. shall be provided through website only. No hardcopy mailing of Written Test/Interview Call letters shall be done by ITR.
- Responsibility of receiving, downloading and printing of Admit Card / Call Letter shall be that of the candidate.
- Candidates should keep a copy of the application for their record.
