DRDO RAC Recruitment 2024 Notification Out for 02 Junior Research Fellowship, Check Eligibility at drdo.gov.in
DRDO RAC is inviting online applications for two Junior Research Fellowship positions at its Delhi location. Candidates with a B.E/B.Tech in Computer Science & Engineering and a valid GATE score in Computer Science & Information Technology are eligible to apply.
The fellowship offers a stipend of Rs. 37,000/- per month, along with applicable House Rent Allowance (HRA) and medical facilities. The maximum age limit for candidates is 28 years, with relaxation for SC/ST/OBC categories. Selection will be based on GATE scores followed by a personal interview.

Position, Vacancy for DRDO RAC Recruitment 2024
DRDO invites online applications through RAC website (https://rac.gov.in) from young and motivated candidates for award of Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) at RAC, Delhi initially for a period of two years (extendable as per rules) as per details given below

Qualification for DRDO RAC Recruitment 2024
- Essential Qualification: B.E/B.Tech. in Computer Science & Engg in First Division with Valid GATE score in Computer Science & Information Technology [Paper code : CS]
- Desirable: Computer Network, NMS, VA/PT, Linux & Windows System Administration, Shell scripting, Web & Database Services (PHP & SQL) and Information Security related web programming skills.
Pay Scale for DRDO RAC Recruitment 2024
Recruitment & Assessment Centre DRDO (DRDO RAC) is offering a Junior Research Fellowship with a stipend of Rs. 37,000/- per month, along with applicable House Rent Allowance (HRA) and medical facilities as per rules.
Age Limit for DRDO RAC Recruitment 2024
Not exceeding 28 years as on the closing date of Advertisement. The upper age limit shall be relaxable for the candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste, Schedule Tribes and OBC as per Govt. of India orders.
Selection Procedure for DRDO RAC Recruitment 2024
- Candidates will be shortlisted for Personal Interview on the basis of GATE score. The selection committee shall interview candidates to assess their aptitude for research work, clarity of concepts, analytical reasoning, capacity to application of knowledge etc.
- Only shortlisted candidates will be informed and called to appear for the interview by Email/SMS/RAC website.

- Interested candidates possessing above qualifications from recognized Universities/Institutions are required to apply online only through the RAC website https://rac.gov.in
- Candidates are required to submit their applications online along with legible scanned copies of certificates regarding Essential Qualification, GATE score card, Date of Birth Certificate, Experience/Training/Project work in support of Desirable Qualification, etc
- The marks obtained in the qualifying exam are to be mentioned in percentage. In case of CGPA, candidates are requested to convert the CGPA into percentage as per their university norms.
- The candidates, whether in Govt Service or in Govt owned organisations, should submit their applications online directly.
- However, such candidates are required to upload a signed declaration (as per the proforma available at RAC website) that they have informed their Cadre Controlling Authority (CCA) in writing that they have applied for the post of ‘Junior Research Fellowship’ in DRDO.
- Candidates need to produce their original documents for proof of educational qualification, GATE score card, caste, age and CCA Declaration (where applicable), along with passport size photographs, before the interview board.
- The candidates will not be allowed to appear for the interview without producing above documents.
- No TA / DA will be admissible for the interview: The candidates have to make their own boarding / lodging and transport arrangements
