Delhi Metro Rail Corporation Ltd (DMRC) is hiring 2 Resident Engineers for positions based in New Delhi. The roles are split into RE-I and RE-II, with salaries ranging from Rs. 75,100 to Rs. 96,600 per month. Candidates must be up to 55 years old, or up to 62 years for post-retirement contractual engagement, and hold a B.E/B.

Tech (Electrical) from a recognized university, with relevant experience in electrical or utility management. Qualifications Details for DMRC Recruitment 2024

• B.E/B. Tech (Electrical) from a Govt. recognized University/ Institute. Vacancies are provisional and subject to increase/decrease. The degree must be a full-time regular course, from a Govt. recognized University/Institute. The emoluments are in terms of the extant rules of DMRC.
• The substantive status of the candidate shall be considered. The consolidated salary for candidates working / retired from, at higher Grade, shall be restricted to the consolidated pay, as mentioned above. The selected candidates for the executive posts shall be designated as RE-I and RE-II, as per qualification and work experience.
• For Resident Engineer /Electrical/RS: Experience of managing Electrical/Rolling Stock work pertaining to Railway/metro systems shall be required. For Resident Engineer / Utility Department: Minimum 1 year experience of diverting utilities of 400kV / 220kV / 132kV / 110kV / 66kV / 33kV / 11kV transmission lines, and experience in DISCOMs of high and medium voltage utilities, etc., shall be preferred.

Age Limit for DMRC Recruitment 2024

• The age limit of the candidates for Deputation shall be a maximum of 55 years, as on 01.09.2024. The age limit of the candidates for Post-Retirement Contractual Engagement basis, shall be a Minimum of 55 years and a maximum of 62 years, as on 01.09.2024.

Pay Scale for DMRC Recruitment 2024

• Rs. 96,600/- p.m. for RE-I, Rs.75,100/-p.m for RE-II. The candidate should have experience as mentioned in the Para above and working in, or retired from Railways/ PSUs/ Metros, having required number of years of service at Gazetted/Executive level in the desired pay scale as detailed below.
• The candidate can be engaged at the level of RE-I or RE-2, based on their payscale as under: For the post of Resident Engineer -I : Officers (Group ‘A’/ Group- ‘B’ Gazetted) working in, or, retired from CDA pay scale at Level 11 (Rs. 67,700– 2,08,700) in pay matrix as per the 7th CPC, or, IDA Pay scale of Rs. 60,000 –1,80,000/-, on regular basis, in the Railways/ PSUs/Metro’s, including services put in on deputation, in the above pay scale, with a total of 03 (Three) years’ service at Gazetted / Executive level.
• For the post of Resident Engineer–II: (Group ‘B’ Gazetted) working in, or retired from CDA pay scale at Pay Level-10 (56100-177500)/ Level-09 (53100-167800)/ Level-08 (47600-151100) in the pay matrix as per the 7th CPC or, IDA Pay scale of Rs. 50,000 –1,60,000/-, on regular basis, in the Railways/ PSUs/ Metro’s, including services put in on deputation, in the above pay scale, with minimum of 02 (Two) years’ service at Gazetted / Executive level. (*Candidates must be working in/retired from the functional grade, on regular basis and MACP will not be considered.)

Selection Process for DMRC Recruitment 2024

• The list of shortlisted candidates shall be uploaded on DMRC website in the First week of October,2024 (tentatively) and interview shall be held in the Third week of October 2024 through offline/ online mode (tentatively) (complete details shall be displayed on DMRC website).
• No separate communication, by post, shall be sent to the candidates individually. Candidates are advised to go through the instructions /schedule for the interview displayed on DMRC website and appear for the interview, accordingly, along with the original copies of the testimonials.The final result will be declared by November, 2024. (Tentatively).
• Eligible and willing candidates for the aforesaid post may apply as per the application format at PDF. The candidate must enclose all relevant proof/documents in support of qualification, experience, pay and pay scale.The candidates presently employed should send their application through proper channel, along with the copies of APARs for the last five years, Vigilance and D&AR clearance, so as to reach the under mentioned address / email id, by the stipulated date. The applications received after the due date shall be summarily rejected.
• Applications received through proper channel i.e., forwarded by the Cadre Controlling Authority of the parent organization, till the last date of the receipt of the application, shall only be entertained. Under no circumstances, shall Advance Copies be entertained.
