Spearheading the Digital India programme, DIC focuses on areas like e-Governance, e-Health, and e-Agriculture, promoting a safe and secure transition to a cashless economy.
Currently, it seeks candidates for the role of Head of Technology for the IndiaAI program, tasked with driving technical initiatives, particularly the National Center for AI (NCAI). The position entails providing strategic direction, forging partnerships, managing resources efficiently, and overseeing project implementation.
The ideal candidate should possess a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in relevant fields, along with extensive experience in AI-related domains, government collaborations, leadership, and project management. Qualifications Details for Digital India Corporation Recruitment 2024
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, mathematics, economics, statistics or related fields from a recognized university/institute
- Master’s degree in engineering, mathematics, and related fields from a recognized university/institute.
- 15+ years of work experience, with 10+ years in AI-related fields
- Relevant experience in working with government organisations.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with a minimum of 7 years of experience leading and mentoring teams.
- Strong technical knowledge of AI, machine learning, deep learning, and statistical modelling, relevant programming languages and libraries
- Proven experience in strategizing, designing, developing, implementing an organisational wide or public end-to-end solution with AI and other emerging technologies.
- Prior experience in implementing the overall AI action plan for the organization.
- Experience in developing and evaluating state-of-the-art (SOTA) models and foundational models, transformers, variational autoencoders (VAEs), generative pre-trained (GPT) models, generative diffusion models, etc.,
- Strong project management skills with a track record of successfully delivering complex technical projects
- Proven ability to engage with diverse stakeholders, including government officials, technical experts, and industry partners
- Knowledge and familiarity with domestic and global AI policy developments
Age Limit for Digital India Corporation Recruitment 2024

- Digital India Corporation reserves the right to terminate the appointments of all positions with a notice of one month or without any notice by paying one month’s salary in lieu of the notice period.
- The designation of the selected candidates shall be mapped as per the existing designation policy of DIC.
