District Health Society Chennai (DHS Chennai) is recruiting for 89 positions, including Data Entry Operators, Lab Technicians, Medical Officers, and more, with salaries ranging from Rs. 13,000 to Rs. 60,000 per month. Positions such as Medical Officers require an MBBS degree, while others require qualifications in management, science, or relevant diplomas.

Qualifications Details for DHS Chennai Recruitment 2024

• Medical Officer – (DTC) : MBBS Degree from medical College recognized by Medical Council of India and duly registered in Tamil Nadu Medical Council/National Medical Council.
• Medical Officer – (Medical College) : MBBS Degree from medical College recognized by Medical Council of India and duly registered in Tamil Nadu Medical Council/National Medical Council.
• District Programme Coordinator : MBA/PG Diploma in management/ health. administration from a recognized institute / university. At least 1 year of work. Basic knowledge of computers.
• District DRTB- HIV Coordinator : Bachelors degree in Science.Certificate course in computer operation (minimum two months).Permanent two wheeler driving license & should be able to drive two wheeler.
• District PPM Coordinator : MSW/ M.Sc Psychology- Post Graduate.One year experience of working in field of Communication/ ACSM/ Public - Private Partnership/ Health projects/ Programs. Permanent two wheeler driving license.
• Statistical Assistant Cum DEO- (Nodal DRTB Centre) :Graduate in statistics with Diploma in computer application or equivalent recognized by the Council for Technical education.Typing speed of 40 w.p.m in English and Tamil.Should be conversant with MS Word, Excel and statistical packages.
• Senior Tuberculosis Laboratory Supervisor (STLS) : Twelfth (10+2) and Bachelor’s degree in Science. Diploma course in Medical Laboratory Technology Recognized by DME.Permanent two wheeler driving license. 2 months Certificate course in MS Office. Work experience in health facility at least for one year.
• Senior Treatment Supervisor (STS) : Bachelor’s Degree in Science or Recognized sanitary inspector's course. Certificate course in MS Office.Permanent two wheeler driving License.
• Data Entry operator (DEO) : (10+2) with Diploma in computer application or equivalent recognized by the council for Technical education. Typing speed of 40 w.p.m in English and Tamil. Should be well conversant with various computer programme including MS Word, Excel and simple statistical packages.
• Lab Technician (LT) : Twelfth (10+2) and 2 Years Diploma course in Medical Laboratory Technology Recognized by DME.
• TB Health Visitor (TB HV) : Graduate in science or Twelfth (10+2) in science and two year course in MPHW/ LHV/ ANM/ Health worker. or. Tuberculosis health visitors recognized course. Certificate course in MS Office.
• Pharmacist : Degree/ Diploma in Pharmacy.1 year experience in managing drug store in a reputed hospital/health center recognized by Govt.
• Counselor (DRTB Centre) : Graduate Degree in Social Work/Sociology/ Psychology. Basic Knowledge of Computer.

Pay Scale for DHS Chennai Recruitment 2024

• A recruitment drive is being conducted for various medical and administrative roles, including Medical Officers at DTC and Medical Colleges with a salary of Rs. 60,000 per month. District Programme Coordinator, District DRTB-HIV Coordinator, and District PPM Coordinator positions offer Rs. 26,500 per month.
• Additional positions include Statistical Assistant Cum DEO at Nodal DRTE Centre with Rs. 26,000, Senior Tuberculosis Laboratory Supervisor (STLS) and Senior Treatment Supervisor (STS) both earning Rs. 19,800, and Data Entry Operators (DEO) at Rs. 13,500.
• Lab Technicians (LT) and TB Health Visitors (TB HV) will receive Rs. 13,000 and Rs. 13,300, respectively, while Pharmacists will be paid Rs. 15,000. Counselors at the DRTB Centre will earn Rs. 13,000. The roles focus on supporting tuberculosis (TB) and HIV-related programs across districts, aiming to enhance medical and data management services.

• Place of work will be in Greater Chennai Corporation limits. Contract Period is for 11 months only. The candidate shall not claim any rights for permanency in the contractual job. The employer is Chennai City Urban Health Mission Society and the contractual job is not directly with the Greater Chennai Corporation.
• The contract may be terminated at any time giving one month notice on either side. The Chennai City Urban Health Mission Administration reserves the right not to specify any reason for such termination. The selected candidates need to enter into an agreement with District Health Society -NTEP- Chennai.
