Department of Telecommunication Recruitment 2024 Notification Out Assistant Director and Junior Telecom Officer Vacancies, Check Eligibility at dot.gov.in
The Office of the Additional Director General (Telecom) in Haryana's LSA, under the Department of Telecommunications (DoT), Ministry of Communications, is seeking consultants on a temporary contract basis for a period of six months or until regular manpower is available.
They aim to fill one Assistant Director and three Junior Telecom Officer positions, open to retired government servants, PSU officers, or individuals from BSNL/MTNL under VRS-2019, with expertise in computer usage and preferably knowledge of DoT field unit or telecom operations.
The consultants will be initially engaged for six months, extendable based on performance up to a maximum of 65 years of age or until regular staffing is achieved. Eligibility Criteria for Department of Telecommunication Recruitment 2024
For Consultant in AD Level: Retired from Central/State Govt./Central or State PSUs/Research organization with minimum substantive grade of level 8 of the 7th CPC in CDA Scale or equivalent IDA Scale or holding analogous post or above. Knowledge of working on Computer is a must. Preference will be given to applicants from DoT/BSNL/MTNL background.

The income tax or any other tax liable to be deducted as per the prevailing rules will be deducted at source.

Selection Process for Department of Telecommunication Recruitment 2024
A Selection panel shall be constituted for this purpose and it will be valid for a period of 6 months. The panel may hold a personal interaction/Interview with the candidates shortlisted by the panel. The decision of the department in the matter of selection of consultant shall be final and binding. No. of vacancies are tentative and may decrease or increase as per requirement. The Consultants will be posted either at Panchkula location or Ambala location as per need basis.
