The Department of Legal Affairs, Ministry of Law & Justice, is seeking suitable candidates to fill four vacancies for the position of Record Clerk on a deputation basis, with three vacancies currently available and a panel being prepared for future openings.
Eligible officials are requested to submit their applications within 30 days of the circular's publication in the employment news, along with necessary documents such as their up-to-date CR/APAR Dossier, Integrity Certificate, and Vigilance Certificate.
Applicants should meet specific eligibility criteria, including holding analogous posts or having three years of regular service in Level 01 of the pay matrix, as well as possessing a Matriculation or equivalent qualification, basic computer knowledge, and proficient typing skills. Those who volunteer for the position cannot withdraw their applications later. Applications received after the deadline will not be considered. The period of deputation for selected candidates shall not exceed three years, with the initial place of posting being New Delhi.

Eligibility criteria for Department of Legal Affairs Recruitment 2024
On deputation basis from amongst officers of the Central Government: Holding analogous posts on regular basis or with 3 years regular service in Level 01 of the pay matrix, and; Should have passed Matriculation or equivalent examination from a recognized Board/University and should possess basic knowledge of Computer and should have good typing speed.
Pay Scale for Department of Legal Affairs Recruitment 2024
The position available is for a Record Clerk, categorized at Level 02 of the pay matrix with a salary scale ranging from Rs. 19,900 to Rs. 63,200 as per the 7th Central Pay Commission. There are currently four vacancies for this role, although this number is subject to variation.
