The Directorate of Elementary Education (DEE) in Assam is recruiting for 35,133 Assistant Teacher positions under Samagra Shiksha Assam (SSA). These positions are divided among Assistant Teachers for Lower Primary, Upper Primary, and Science Graduate Teachers in Upper Primary. The application process for these roles is strictly online, and candidates must apply on the official DEE Assam website from August 6, 2024, to August 12, 2024.
The pay scale for these positions falls under Pay Band – 2 (PB-2), ranging from Rs. 14,000/- to Rs. 70,000/- per month, including Grade Pay and other allowances as per the Assam Service (Revision of Pay) (Amendment) Rules, 2019. Candidates must meet specific conditions, including having at least five years of continuous service as Contractual and State Pool Contractual teachers under SSA as of July 31, 2024.
