CUTN Recruitment 2024 Notification Out Junior Research Fellow Vacancies, Check Eligibility at cutn.ac.in
Applications are being solicited for the role of Junior Research Fellow (JRF-1) on a contractual basis in a time-bound research project sponsored by SERB (Ref. No. SERB/CRG/2023/000535) at the Department of Chemistry, Central University of Tamil Nadu, Thiruvarur.
Non-NET/GATE candidates will receive a fellowship of Rs. 25,000/- + 8% HRA. The position is for a tenure of three years or until the project's conclusion, whichever is earlier, and applicants must hold an MSc in Chemistry or related disciplines with a minimum of 55% marks or CGPA. Preference will be given to candidates with research experience and at least one publication in Organic Chemistry.
The age limit is 28 years, subject to relaxation as per Government of India rules. Interested candidates should submit their filled-in application along with relevant documents to [email protected] by May 25, 2024, 5:00 pm. The deadline may be extended based on the response. Shortlisted candidates will be notified for an interview via email, with the interview conducted online within two to three weeks. All communication will be conducted via email.

Qualifications Details for CUTN Recruitment 2024
- MSc in Chemistry/Organic Chemistry/ Pharmaceutical Chemistry/ Medicinal Chemistry Industrial Chemistry or any other equivalent discipline with a minimum 55% mark or CGPA.
- Preference will be given to those with research experience in Organic chemistry with proof of at least one publication.
Age Limit for CUTN Recruitment 2024
The Central University of Tamil Nadu (CUTN) is seeking to fill the position of Junior Research Fellow (JRF), with one post available. The tenure of the position is for three years from the commencement of the project or until the conclusion of the project, whichever occurs earlier. The age limit for applicants is 28 years, with relaxation possible according to Government of India regulations.
Pay Scale for CUTN Recruitment 2024
Rs. 31,000/- + 8% HRA for two years and 35,000/+ 8% HRA for third year (As per SERB and Institute norms) for CSIR-NET/UGC-NET/GATE CUET/CUCET for Ph.D. or any other equivalent National Level examinations. For Non-NET/GATE candidates, the fellowship will be (25,000/-+8% HRA) as per SERB, and GoI Norms.
