The Department of Mathematics at the Central University of Rajasthan is seeking applications for a Junior Research Fellow (JRF) position in the DST-SERB sponsored project titled "Higher Order Numerical Schemes for Two-Fluid Plasma Equations." The position is for a duration of three years, or until the project's completion, with an interview scheduled for April 29, 2024.
The selected candidate will receive a monthly stipend of INR 31,000 in accordance with DST-SERB rules. Eligible candidates must hold a Master's degree in Mathematics with a minimum aggregate score of 60% (55% for ST/SC candidates) and must have cleared UGC/CSIR-NET, GATE, or similar national-level exams. Desirable qualifications include computational skills, knowledge of Hyperbolic Conservation Laws, and previous experience in Computational Methods for Hyperbolic PDEs.

Qualifications Details for CURAJ Recruitment 2024
- The applicant must have a Master's degree in Mathematics with a minimum of 60% aggregate score (55% for ST/SC candidates).
- Candidate must have cracked UGC/CSIR-NET, GATE or any other national level exam conducted by a national agency.
- Computational Skills
- Knowledge of Hyperbolic Conservation Laws
- Preference may be given to a candidate having work experience in the relevant area of research (Computational Methods for Hyperbolic PDEs)
- The selected candidate is encouraged to register for the Ph.D. program as per University norms.
Pay Scale for CURAJ Recruitment 2024
The Junior Research Fellow (JRF) position is available at CURAJ for the project titled "Higher Order Numerical Schemes for Two-Fluid Plasma Equations," funded by DST SERB-EEQ (File No.-EEQ/2023/000453). This is a three-year position, spanning from 2024 to 2027, or until the project's conclusion, whichever comes first. The salary offered is Rs. 31,000/- per month, in accordance with DST-SERB rules.
