Applications are being accepted for the positions of Research Assistant (01) and Field Investigator (02) for a Major Research Project titled "A Study on the Cultural Ecological Knowledge of the Mal Pahariyas of Jharkhand," sponsored by the Indian Council for Social Science Research (ICSSR), New Delhi. The Research Assistant must hold a postgraduate degree in Social & Cultural Anthropology, Indigenous Culture Studies, or any social sciences with a minimum of 55% marks, along with fieldwork experience and basic computer skills.
Preference will be given to candidates proficient in Mal Paharia, Nagpuri, or Santali languages. The position is initially for 9 months, extendable based on performance, with a monthly salary of Rs. 37,000/-. The Field Investigator role requires similar qualifications and preferences, with a monthly salary of Rs. 20,000/- for an 8-month tenure with no extension.
