CSMCRI Recruitment 2024 Notification Out for 01 Project Associate I, Check Eligibility at csmcri.res.in
CSMCRI (Central Salt and Marine Chemicals Research Institute) has released a notification for the recruitment of one Project Associate I. The project focuses on the "Electrochemical-based Eco-friendly Recovery of Bioactive Compounds and polymers from seaweeds". The essential qualification for this position is M.Sc. in Biotechnology, Microbiology, Marine Science, Marine Biology, Oceanography, Botany, or related fields. Desirable qualifications include experience in seaweed collection and cultivation.
The pay scale for this position varies based on the candidate's qualifications. M.Sc. scholars selected through national eligibility tests or a selection process by central government departments will receive Rs. 31,000/- plus HRA, while others will receive Rs. 25,000/- plus HRA. Candidates should not exceed 35 years of age, with relaxation available as per CSMCRI norms.

- Name of the Post: Project Associate-I (1 number)
Qualification for CSMCRI Recruitment 2024
- Essential Qualification: M.Sc., in Biotechnology/ Microbiology/ Marine Science/ Marine Biology/ Oceanography/ Oceanography and Coastal Area Studies/ Botany/ Plant Biology/ Plant Biotechnology.
- Desirable Qualification: Seaweed collection and cultivation
Pay Scale for CSMCRI Recruitment 2024
(i) Rs. 31,000/- + HRA for M.Sc. scholars who are selected through (a) National eligibility tests-CSIR-UGC NET including lectureship (Assistant Professorship) or GATE or (b) a selection process through National level examinations conducted by central government departments and their agencies and institutions.
(ii) Rs. 25000/- + HRA for others who do not fall under (a)and (b) above.
Age Limit for CSMCRI Recruitment 2024
For CSMCRI Recruitment 2024, the age limit for the position of Project Associate I is set at 35 years. However, there is relaxation available in the age limit as per the norms of CSMCRI. This provision allows candidates who may exceed the specified age limit to still be eligible for the position, subject to the relaxation criteria outlined by CSIR.
Selection Procedure for CSMCRI Recruitment 2024
Interview will be conducted on physical mode at Marine Algal Research Station, CSIR-CSMCRI, Mandapam Camp - 623 519, Tamil Nadu for shortlisted candidates no TA/DA is permissible for attending the interview. Shortlisted candidate list will be informed through mail on 08.05.2024. Applicants should be submitted as per the instruction in the application form otherwise application will be rejected.

- Applicants those who are working as a Project Assistant/ Field Assistant/ Research scholar or any other mode in CSIR institutions/ other government organizations need to be submit
- No Objection Certificate from their present Project Leader or competent authority in the letter head with seal.
- Candidates applying without knowledge of their Project Leader or Competent authority, candidates will be whole responsibility for any enquiry and CSIR–CSMCRI, and MARS, Mandapam will not be responsible.
