The Department of Chemicals and Petrochemicals is seeking to fill two positions of Deputy Industrial Advisor (Group-A, Gazetted, Non-ministerial) on deputation and promotion basis. Eligible candidates must be officers from various governmental or related institutions, holding an analogous post or having at least five years of service in a specific pay grade.
They should possess a Master's degree in Chemistry and three years of relevant experience in governmental or related bodies dealing with chemicals or petrochemicals or international conventions. The selected candidates' pay will be regulated as per government guidelines, with a maximum age limit of 56 years.
The deputation period, including any prior ex-cadre postings, should not exceed four years. Applications must be submitted within 60 days to the designated authority in the prescribed format, accompanied by necessary certificates and documents. Withdrawal of candidature after application submission is not permitted.

Eligibility Conditions for CSJMU Recruitment 2024
- Officers under the Central Government or State Governments or Union Territory administrations or Public Sector Undertakings or Universities or recognised research Institutions or semi-Government autonomous bodies or statutory organisation:
- holding analogous post on regular basis in the parent cadre or department; Or
- with five years' service in the grade rendered after appointment thereto on regular basis in posts in Level-10 (Rs.56,100-1,77,500) in the Pay Matrix or equivalent in the parent cadre or department; and
- Possessing the following educational qualifications and experience: Master's degree in any branch of Chemistry (but excluding bio-chemistry) from a recognised University or Institution and three years' experience in chemical or petrochemical in a Central Government or State Governments or Union territory Administrations or public sector undertakings or universities or recognised rescarch institutions semi Government or autonomous bodies or statutory organisations dealing with chemicals or petrochemicals; or
- Bachelor's degree in chemical engineering or chemical technology from a recognised University or Institute and four years' of experience in chemical or petrochemical Sector under Central Government or State Governments or Union territory Administrations or public

Pay Scale for CSJMU Recruitment 2024
It is proposed to fill up two post of Deputy Industrial Advisor (General Central Service, Group-'A' Gazetted, Non-ministerial) in the scale of pay of Level Il of the Pay Matrix (Rs.67,700 -2,08,700) in the Department of Chemical and Petrochemicals on deputation (including short term contract) plus promotion basis.
