Applications are invited online for the position of Project Associate-I on a purely temporary basis under the sponsored project titled "Plastic Depolymerization And Upcycling (DEPOLUP)" by CSIR. The project aims to develop kinetic models for plastics pyrolysis, simulate chemical processes for plastics depolymerization, and conduct lab experiments on a bench/pilot scale.
Candidates must possess a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemical Engineering or Technology, with desirable experience in process modeling, simulation, and plastics pyrolysis experiments. The consolidated emoluments for selected candidates are Rs. 31,000/- per month plus HRA. Qualifications Details for CSIR-NCL Recruitment 2024
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or Technology from a recognized University or equivalent
- Master's degree in Chemical Engineering or Technology from a recognized University or equivalent
- Work experience in the process modeling and simulation
- Performing experiments for plastics pyrolysis
- Development of Aspen-based simulation models
Pay Scale for CSIR-NCL Recruitment 2024
- 31,000/- + HRA to Scholars who are selected through (a) National Eligibility Tests-CSIR-UGC NET including lectureship(Assistant Professorship) or GATE r (b) A selection process through National level examinations conducted by Central Government Departments and their Agencies and Institutions. 25,000/- + HRA for others who do not
Selection Process for CSIR-NCL Recruitment 2024
- Where a number of applications received in response to this Notice of engagement is large, it may not be convenient or possible to interview all the candidates. Based on the recommendation of the Screening Committee, the Project Leader may restrict the number of candidates to be called for interview to reasonable limits after taking into consideration qualifications and experience over and above the minimum qualifications prescribed in the Notice.
- Therefore, it will be in the interest of the candidates, to mention all the qualifications and experience in the relevant field on date of advertise. The candidates recommended by the Screening Committee to be called for interview.
- The interview will be conducted on 16/04/2024 from 11:30 AM online through a suitable medium such as Microsoft Teams, Google Meet, Cisco WebEx etc. No interview call letter will be issued separately. No TA/DA will be admissible for appearing for the interview. Selected candidates will have to join duty immediately on receipt of the offer of engagement.
- Shortlisted candidates will be required to appear before the Selection Committee for an online interview.
