A position for Senior Project Associate is available for a project titled "Investigating the overlapping functions of RHO and H-NS proteins in silencing foreign DNA and virulence factors in bacteria: the role of intrinsic pH fluctuation in the absence of optimum Rho function," identified by Project Code GAP-0245.
The essential qualification for this role includes a Master’s Degree in Natural or Agricultural Sciences/MVSc, or a bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Technology, or Medicine from a recognized university, along with at least 4 years of experience in Research and Development in either Industrial or Academic Institutions, or Science and Technology Organizations.
Alternatively, candidates with a Doctoral Degree in Science, Engineering, Technology, Pharma, MD, or MS from a recognized university can also apply. Desirable qualifications include a Ph.D. in Biosciences from a reputed university or institution, with expertise in gene cloning, protein expression, purification, and characterization. Specialization in Biochemistry, Molecular Microbiology, and Biotechnology is preferred.

Qualifications Details for CSIR-IMT Recruitment 2024
Essential:
- Master’s Degree in Natural or Agricultural Sciences/ MVSc or bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Technology or Medicine from a recognized University or equivalent; and
- 4 years experience in Research and Development in Industrial and Academic Institutions or Science and Technology Organizations and Scientific activities and services or
- Doctoral Degree in Science/ Engineering/ Technology/ Pharma/ MD/ MS from a recognized university and equivalent
Desirable: Ph. D. degree in Bio sciences from reputed university or institution. Candidate should have expertise on gene cloning, protein expression, purification and characterization Specialization in the field of Biochemistry, Molecular microbiology and Biotechnology will be desirable.
Pay Scale for CSIR-IMT Recruitment 2024
- The monthly emoluments for the Senior Project Associate position amount to Rs. 42,000 plus HRA.
- The compensation package includes a monthly salary of Rs. 42,000 along with HRA.
